I’m worried moreso for his character bro. He’s gonna become just a plot device if he doesn’t do something that’s morally questionable or something that isn’t honorable at least. I’m just hoping Oda shows him as someone who’s willing to get his hands dirty or rep muddled if it means his overall agenda and goal is being satisfied. Rather than simply being a plot device who fixes it all by his aura

Well, let's be honest, Shanks has no aura at that time, and even Shanks is introduced with amazing Haki. It wouldn't be strange if Shanks showed some strange power and fought on par with Loki to become a Yonko.

Oda has added multiple top tiers out of nowhere for flashbacks we need to see what actually happend.

The same VC also says that Mihawk is waiting for someone to surpass Shanks to be able to challenge him meaning he still views Shanks as the closest thing to him. Just not close enough for him to be pushed to his limits. Mihawk obviously grew but he’s basically out of god tier contention or anywhere near it

On God Valley it took Roger and Garp putting all of their haki into one attack to defeat Domi-Reversi Xebec but Loki bascially replicated that feat by his lonesome with his DF and Ragnir

All of that said, it's become pretty obvious that it's gonna be a task and half to defeat the Gorosei giving the Conqueror's Haki gas they got on Egghead.

So kinda like Loki, as long as their opponents have CoC, Luffy and the wings are most likely going to need something on top of their CoC in order to beat the Gorosei and Imu, interesting
