If Michelle is town she will claim. She won't fall on her sword and just take the lynch if her claim can help her. Me asking her isn't any different from anyone else asking her, the demand for her claim is there and I can't make her reveal it.
Also, it seems like you're implying I'm trying to make something out of this - you're the one trying ti draw this position out of me, all I said was that if someone sent you this gift it would be worth them claiming it. I never brought up the potential for it to be scummy for you until you asked for me to explain the pros and cons of securing the claim. It's stupid when there's better, safer alternatives. Risking a more stupid choice in attempts to argue for it using wifom is a needlessly risky play, but agsin you're of this. Everything cant just be dismissed as wifom, otherwise Flower's absurd accusations would hold merit because id do them for WIFOM reasons.

Ive given scum reads, isoed players I didnt have a read on, questioned my town reads to ensure there was no oversight, provided updates on my poe and progressed it with new info while also explaining my progressions. Ive claimed any and all results and actions and anything useful to town from my pm. Surely there's no contention here that im not doing my best to help town read me, so I have no reason to create new reasons for town to mistrust me.

I don't know, it would depend on your role, and any hypothetical role your teammates would have too. I know you certainly possess the sort of ego required to believe you could argue anything successfully, so I don't find this very persuasive. Making a "suboptimal" decision that you can then defend as proof of you not being scum is also pretty common for decent scum, provided of course that they can defend the suboptimal angle correctly. And given that you apparently believed there's no reason for any gift giver to claim here, then I think it stands you, as scum, would plausibly believe you could argue it's existence without having to prove it.
Cool, I can safely eliminate that as a possibility then.
