I guess this works this way :

York submits to get a sword.
York also submits to study Reason with Crowned Witch.
Crowned Witch is a villager(in this scenario, I'm not giving a town read here)
York doesn't face any negative effect because Crowned Witch is a villager.
York gets the Reason rank up! Tadadada!
Crowned Witch mysteriously gets the Reason without knowing where it comes from.

That's also the reason I think scum might redirect players who study to a scum player so they would face negative effects. And that's why anybody shouldn't announce they will study with anyone the next night.

I really hope I was clear. But it also means in the case of York flipping town, her claiming she didn't get any negative effects from studying with Crowned Witch might be a reason to consider Crowned Witch is town. It wouldn't work the other way, but it also means that since scums are informed they know with who they can study without any negative effect. And THEN we can track if there is something wrong with what people claim.

Anyone familiar to the lore can explain why Golden Deers got 9 slots but the two others got 8 slots?

it's possible, but just because your post seems to assume something that i believe is not real, i'll clarify - the mod didn't rand based on the house choices

there could be 5 wolves in one house, so i wouldn't take that as a metric for hunting personally

it felt like he was being misconstrued and put into a corner for a silly reason (different takes on mech). whenever i've seen callouts of PR hunting they always seem wrong, they're usually looking a lot less obvious than this

Alexis' early read on me last game was that I was town, it turned to be wrong. If we apply the same logic here, and since Alexis said a few pages ago that I was mafia, that makes me town.

does york do this thing a lot of the time? pre-designing posts and going with them anyway while calling them out to us as being pre-rand, like what's the point in posting them if you do that? a bit puzzling
