True, I genuinely would be shocked if Loki was the type to be talked down from avenging his father. He seems like he has been waiting years for a chance.

I think it’s more likely he and shanks fought because Loki was too early and shanks chained him knowing that Luffy is the chosen one and shanks can’t risk Loki losing this prophecized ability before the final war against Imu
