@soupongo @ZenZu Naruto’s power progression up until Sage Mode is pretty funny ngl.

Blud emerges out of the timeskip weaker than Sakura and his only new technique being a slightly bigger Rasengan. He then gets casually speed blitzed by Sasuke, and the training that he undergoes to close the gap is to… learn a highly telegraphed Jutsu that has a long charge up time and does absolutely nothing to counter the massive speed discrepancy between the two, and is also massive overkill since a regular Rasengan would be enough to take out Sasuke if it landed… Surely Naruto could have used Wind Style to augment his speed?

Imo, Naruto should have just learned Wind Style during the timeskip with Jiraiya, and give him more Wind Style techniques than just Rasenshuriken ffs. Naruto then should have learned Yang Release in the Akatsuki Suppression arc. Given the heavy Yin/Yang symbolism between Sasuke and Naruto, it’s kinda weird that Naruto had no Yang Release mastery despite being the most “Yang” character in the series (Sasuke knew Yin Release since genjutsu falls under that category). This way, Naruto could actually be low Kage level when he beats Kakuzu
He got no Ws until he got the better of kakuzu with like 6 other people. Kishi doesn't like naruto.

Do you Like Naruto more than one piece?

It's common sense Naruto should have came out of a 2 year timeskip with rasenshuriken, and then advanced as an overall fighter in other ways leading up to a clean victory against Kakuzu.

@soupongo @Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier When Harald met Shanks, he said he feels like he’s seen him before, and he apparently said the same thing to Shamrock when he first met him. Who could Shanks and Shamrock possibly remind him of? It’s certainly not anyone in the present or recent past, or we’d have seen them in the flashback. The only possibility I can think of is that the Child of Destiny with his special red hair looks like someone that Harald saw on some Void Century mural or text…
The more I think about this the more stupid it sounds. Why the fuck would the dude in a world FULL OF PEOPLE WITH COLORFUL AND WEIRD HAIR think that Shanks is somehow special for his hair and connect him to a shitty drawing he saw on a mural?
For all he knows that could be Eustass Kidd on the mural, assuming there's even a dude on the mural or text. This theory makes no sense and it's actually pissing me off like what the fuck bro

I’m slowly rewatching Naruto, and I got to the part where Kakashi and Yamato are explaining Chakra Natures to him (how tf did Jiraiya not even tell him what ts is😭). Yamato tells Kakashi to avoid explaining Yin Release and Yang Release to Naruto because it’s too advanced and will confuse him even more. Kinda feels like setup for a later Yang Release power up. It’s genuinely baffling that Naruto didn’t learn any Yang Release tbh, though maybe Shadow Clone Jutsu is actually Yang Release? Kishimoto never really went in depth on what exactly Yin and Yang Release are

Sounds like some shanks fan wet dream, some shanks pig assumed that Harald thought shanks looked like joyboy and was the man with the Eyepatch lol.Only for that to never be confirmed

1. Colorful hair was a lot less common when Oda first started writing the story
2. Shanks’s hair color is so important that his epithet is literally just “Red Hair,” and him, Shamrock, and their mom are literally the only characters in the black and white manga to have their hair shaded grey, so idk why you keep acting like there’s no significance to it?

@ZenZu Naruto learning Rasenshuriken to beat Sasuke really just makes less and less sense the more I think about it. Like I said earlier, it’s way to slow and telegraphed to ever realistically hit Hebi Sasuke. But aside from that, why would Naruto even use it on Sasuke if he intends to bring him back alive? It would instakill Hebi Sasuke if it landed. Sure, imbuing Wind Style into Rasengan gives him an advantage if he clashes with Sasuke’s Chidori, but Wind Style: Rasengan would already do that

What other epithet could he even have? There's nothing to note about him other than him having red hair. Do you want them to call him "One Armed Shanks?

apparently, he may have learned something during his training with Jiraiya, and Kishi literally forgor

(unless he really meant the nine tails power, but it´s not really clarified)
Part 2 Naruto is just next level pathetic. You can´t even say it´s about natural talent vs hard work, Sasuke literally just trained harder than him over the timeskip, and earned his place in the series at about a tier higher than Naruto. And let´s not even get started on how impotent and pathetic he is over the first half of it, just being completely reactionary to Sasuke and other characters, getting his teamates in near death situations because of how emotional he is, and contributing very little to make up for it. Yeah, it´s endearing at first that Naruto wants to save Sasuke, but after the third poorly defined mission, it just becomes pathetic, and is honestly a bad look on Tsunade and Jiraiya for even humoring it.

Meanwhile, first half of Ship, Sasuke is treated as a serious player by the likes of Obito, Orochimaru, Deidara, Danzo, even Pain. They all see Naruto as just some kid in comparison.

If judged exclusively by the main characters all these stories are completely dogshit
It is always the world building and serious characters that leave an impact
Main characters will never give you shock value, they never change from arc to arc basis if at all (in Luffy's case he drastically changed for the worse)
Orochimaru, Akatsuki, Kage
Warlords, Admirals
This is what you usually look for

Tbh Brook recognized Gunko from her Blue Hair and multi colored eye despite how common blue hair also seems to be
