Similar to the thread on APForums, it makes sense to collect Oda´s interviews in which he reveals interesting information and discuss them here.

If such a thread already exists, please delete this one.

Just recently important revelations:

90 minutes ago, Japanese Youtubers called Fischer's posted a video of Oda’s studio. They held an interview with Oda.
Here is my summary of the interview. Oda said he’d like to finish OP in 5 years. He kindly gave 7 autographs to each of the Youtubers.


Video:

- Oda says he’d like to finish OP in 5 years.
- The great incident caused by Straw Hat Grand Fleet mentioned in Dressrosa arc will happen “soon”. (Not sure how exactly “soon” Oda meant)
- Oda loves Sushi so much.
- Oda’s shoe size is 26.5cm.
- Oda started playing futsal for the first time in 20 years, but he ended up getting injured many times. So he recently decided to take a walk to improve his health.
-There is a rumor that Oda has Automated Teller Machine to withdraw money in his house, but he denies.
- Oda says Stampede has a hint about Raftel that OP fans would be willing to discuss. (Probably implying "Laugh Tale" thing. Now we can safely assume the romanization is official.)
- Oda didn’t draw Raftel island in the map mentioned by Crocus.
- After a discussion about Bullet’s bounty in Stampede, they decided not to reveal it
- Straw Hats broke up in Sabaody before time skip. The locations where each crewmates sent (ex. Amazon Lily) were chosen by Kuma’s own will.

[EDIT] Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes another 10-15 years to finish OP since his wish to finish the series in 5 years and his estimation are not necessarily the same..
Raftel and Kuma stuffs sound like bigger news.

I hope people realize how important Kuma is, and also stop using "Zoro´s performance" in TB as something actually useful, Kuma is Strawhats´ biggest ally pretty much.

The Kuma stuff is very interessting, for me Kuma was probably Dragon right hand man until Sabo take the role after Kuma work as a Shichibukai.
Why they still don´t want to reveal Bullet bounty, sadly we didn´t get a confirmation that Bullet is a canon one piece character as Shiki.
And as Sandman state it, alone the fact that he wish to finish One piece in 5years show that the show still running for longer time.

Kuma is a beast. And smart like no one.

He made research on the crew, analyses them their personalities, their skills etc and sent them to the best place to improve.

He also knew their history : to send Zoro with Mihawk he must have known their first duel and their history.

He also knew Boa Hancock personality and Luffys one and knew that it would match.
Etc etc.

I hope we will see Kuma at his best one day.

For the 5 years I don't know if it will be possible. Wano final stakes should be a lot more important than we think if the story finished not long after.

Grand fleet does nothing against Yonkou, so with or without them it´s impossible.

And i doubt the event Oda referred to is Wa No, he made it sound like they specifically would cause it, not be a minor support when other people are the main stars.

Not so much research as watching them on Thriller Bark and making very smart deductions.
Let´s take Zoro for example. He saw Zoro´s personality, and knows Mihawk´s personality, hence in his view inevitable that Zoro as a "true swordsman" would impress Mihawk.

Could be, i mean the Tenryuubito thing is apparent.

I think Vegapunk arc will also be Kuma rescue arc.

He said he wishes to end it in 5 years, everyone knows it´s impossible.

-His pad cannon were slower than usual?
-The pain’s bubble that he said should have kill Zoro was not really a pain’s bubble?

Mihawk was willing to harm, if not kill, Luffy (I.e Luffy feeling that Mihawk wants to cut his arms) but he did not have to go all out to do so. Same thing with Kuma, he put Zoro Through an ordeal of blood even tho he was not going all out.

The fact that he send the Strawhats where he wanted does not diminish in any case Zoro’s performance, it’s just means that Kuma was not going all out in TB.

And you are also right, he was ready to kill him had he not shown anything at all.
Context is different though, mihawks motive is curiosity, kuma is much more invested in the strawhats.

When people claim zoro actually dodged attacks from kuma, they imply kuma was serious.

This says that Zoro and sanji wont reach top tier level until EoS (after timeskip lol)

2021 : 1 arc left in Yonko Saga vs Teach
2022: Finding last RP (maybe it is on elbaf or next to it)
Raftel arc
2023-24 : final arc vs WG

Do you have any proof that Kuma let Zoro cut him?

Do you have any proof that the pad cannon were slower? Do you any comparison points?

Kuma himself said that it should have killed him. Why Kuma would have lied about that?

How do you know that Kuma motives was not curiosity? Especially when leaving TB he was praising Luffy’s crewmates. Therefore doing exactly with Luffy’s crewmates what Mihawk did with Luffy’s fate.

He was serious but was not going all out.
