Is sommers powerful? No. But he has not been permanently impaired (because of his regeneration) not even by acoc users.

It never made sense for sanji to fight sommers since he lacks acoc

Im not talking about being named attacks Im talking about literally Power used. Whitbeard used his devil fruit to his highest lvl, Aokiji and Garp they physical Power to the highest lvl. Loki was base form only used 1 of his 2 elements after he just ate the fruit 2min ago, thats like the lowest lvl attack Loki has. its basically just his lightning Power+ acoc, without any of his Dragon physical Powers

One could say the same for BB and Aokiji/Garp for different reason. Awakening? Named moves? Etc.

Loki wasn't in Hybrid for narrative reasons (to not spoil us), but that was a very serious hit.

I really don't see why Zolobros are so against putting their idolo against someone who is, at the very least, a well-proven and highly capable ACoC potency test dummy. If Zolo does anything really long-lasting or (god forbid, permanent) to him, that'd be legit a good look.

To be fair if Zoro's main fight this arc is Sommers, it will put him above EOS Sanji (Gaban), Prime Rayleigh, Loki and Luffy

As all of these people failed to defeat Sommers
