You must help town climb to the peaks of Johto.
I get some vague TMI feelings from this post.
Bro drops in to drop a vote on me and vanishes.
(regarding Cryo, after he joked that Alexis needed a taste of his own medicine then dropped a vote on bittersweet)
Yeah, I'm sad. I got randomed the most shady stuff again.
Multiple people are claiming they've received sub-standard Pokemon. At this point I'm just going to ignore those claims until they're actually proven true.
Like Polar Bear's silly post trap.
After that, there was a little back and forth between bitter/ginger (best duo name ever, by the way!) about Alex's "confident" town-reads, how he got to them (by anti PoE) and ginger asking bitter to help do some ISOs on those players. At this point bitter explains that they are unwell but will try their best.
Strong Town Leans:
- Alexis
Slight Town Leans:
- Flower
- Naomi
- Juliet
Null:
- gingerbread
- Ratchet
- York
- Orca
- Polar Bear
- Yoho (claims to be a good noodle but plays like scum a lot of games lately)
- Jan
- RippedCal
- Crying bc no Cryo
- TheAverageGuy
- Rej
- Handium
- tepig
Super Null:
- JustJuice
- Marimo_420
Slight Scum Lean:
- Shuijing
- Alwaysmind
- Hayumi (I suck at reading them and have been suspicious of them far too many times and not trusted my gut instincts on it)
- Charlie
- Pot Goblin
- Mr. Reloaded (mostly for that picture)
Strong Scum Lean:
A read-list... nothing that I can see is overly contentious. Seems like fairly consensus reads, given that at the point I subbed in, Alex and Naomi were fairly widely town-read. The scum leans are relatively PoE, the null are the no-shows, and everyone else is null. I can't honestly say that having so many *null* reads is a bad look because I too have a lot of players that I have yet to sort, but the fact that the reads are so thread-temperature at this stage does concern me somewhat.
After that, there's an odd series of posts between AM, Naomi and Bitter. For brevity I won't quote them, but I will summarise as:
1523 - AM jokingly(?) accuses Bitter of stealing her reason for scum-reading Relo (which I have bolded in the read list above)
1524 - Naomi posts a picture of Sonic(? - I don't know if it's Sonic... he's black with red spikes. I don't really follow that stuff) holding a phone, presumably implying that AM is 'phoning it in'?
1525 - Bitter asks "Naomi, dear. Would you explain to Always that I stated that the picture was horrible the moment after he posted it within the first ten pages?"
1526 - Bitter then says she'll find the post herself
1528 - AM tells Bitter she can fight her own battles and asks if Naomi isn't in team-rocket chat with Bitter
1529 - Bitter says she did fight her own battle and quoted her own post to prove it
1531 - Naomi asks AM "why would I be scum?"
(as an unrelated note, I notice that Naomi often attacks the players who are scum-reading the people she is town-reading. Is this normal for her town play?)
What reason are you scum reading me this game? As to why, I've had you as a slight scum lean most of this game and your play so far since the start of this day phase doesn't convince me you're helping town solve.
Vote Lynch Shuijing
I've bolded the very weird statement because if you throw a dart at the lower half of the activity register you're very likely to hit somebody who doesn't appear to be "helping town solve" so this justification of the vote on Shuijing doesn't hold up for me. Also, the fact that Bitter points out that "I've had you as a slight scum lean most of this game..." to me feels like bringing up the fact that they have an established progression route to vote Shuijing. I'm going to mark them down as probably not paired.
Is it really far-fetched? The vig could have intended to shoot the player before they were subbed. There's plenty of people who have openly claimed so in multiple games that they either day lynch or vig shoot him.
Now, they could have seen the slot becoming useful with a new pair of eyes when Watson subbed in for him and the scum wanted to eliminate that because Watson would have a lot more credibility as a player for guiding town actions than Alexis lately.
I'm not sure whether the kill on Alexis warrants this level of Olympic-level gymnastics. It feels like Bitter scrambling for a reason here.

bittersweet
That's where I see the majority of mafia this game, assuming Flower and Pot Goblin mech looks valid enough and not giving a fuck about 0 posters (420 and Juice).
Why do you have such a driving urge to label me as scum this game?
Hyperbole. One in a PoE of 11 is not a scum label. That PoE increases to 13 or even 15 if you add back in the players that ginger took out, so I don't understand why bittersweet is having such a conflated reaction to this. That is not an impossible PoE to work yourself out of if you are town.
Started working my way through the players who were on the wagon of AM at the end of the day.
here's where I'm at right now, the ones without comments I still need to ISO
Naomi
Crying
Gingerbread
York - null
ThatAverageGuy
TheOrca - could be town or slight scum lean
Watson - cleared, janitor killed, most likely town
Tepig - weak reasoning behind voting AM, claims sheeping
Ratchet - null
Rej - no clear direction on their votes, seems to go with the flow
Luka - lean town for now
This is indeed a list, but the conclusions leave something to desired. If we assume 'null' for the non-ISO players for now, that is Cryo, Ginger, York, myself and Ratchet as null.
* Orca as town or scum. So... null?
* Dead Watson, a likely town.
* Tepig 'weak' reasoning... so... scum? Maybe?
* Rej feels like an implied town read? But it's hard to tell what the exact implication is
* Luke - town lean (for now)
As I mentioned to gingerbread earlier, the contributions from bittersweet today feel more like 'information instead of analysis' instead of genuine sorting.
I'll end the ISO there as it will now overlap with what ginger posted a few hours ago, and I'm conscious I need to head out soon for a few hours so my time is a little limited.
@gingerbread overall I agree with your assessment here. Day 1 content is mostly fluff-posting. I can give leeway for illness, and even illness lasting into Day 2 as well. But even one piece of solid investigative work on a single player would've done more to convince me of bittersweet's towniness than what has ben produced today. So they remain in my PoE.
