I'm a little confused about the convoluted way in which Shui comes to read Alexis as town here. Why would Alexis, as scum, list the strongest players listed here as scum, if they were part of the same scum team?
This feels a bit... wacky? I can understand being glad to be able to town-read a player as unique as Alexis. So overall a slight good look here?
The reasoning for this vote is quite amusing. Feels serious-but-not-serious. Kind of off-beat. I don't know whether it's AI.
(said to Flower)
The only thing that gives me pause here is the phrase of "still don't town read you", because I don't recall it being much of a discussion point between Shui/Flower before now. It feels almost like a conversation has been skipped, if that makes sense?
I actually get a little town-feel from this response. I don't know whether Shui, as scum, would feel compelled to defend himself against gingerbread's question, but Shui's response felt natural. I'm not sure most people would agree with me here.
(regarding Hayumi)
I think the way Shui approached ginger's post about Shui/Ratchet/Hayumi is +town. Scum-Shui would have little reason to clear town-Ratchet when he could just push both Ratchet *and* Hayumi.
Doesn't accept an easy town-read.
I like the tone.
(to Jan, regarding having one of his abilities destroyed)
This is an interesting question because from memory I thought that Jan was pro-Shui (or at least got the impression Jan was cheerleading him a little... I'll have to go back and reread their interactions from Jan's POV)
Again, I like the tone, but I'd prefer players not be annihilated post-game as that sounds rather permanent, if I'm honest.
I'm going to finish my read-up of Shui here for now because I also want to review bittersweet plus the Jan/Shui interactions from the Jan side of things, as to why he targeted Shui for a 'destroy ability' action.
And yes
@Flower the 503 errors just as I began to ISO were a considerable annoyance.
Overall I think that Shui's posts are ~fine. They don't scream 'top town' to me, but they do seem prodding in good places and fairly consistent in the things he is prodding at. So I would take Shui off the table for lynch today, and just keep reviewing daily.
