The reason is Gorosei have an abyss covenant. Imu literally came out of Saturn. He wasn't using Saturn to fight.

And as I´ve told you like 1 million times lmao, there´s no reason to think Gunko doesn´t have that covenant, given the fact that she´s been Imu´s personal guard since Rocks invaded Mariejois, like.... 60 years ago? And it´s pretty clear that Imu can´t possess regular GK like he does with Gunko, based on Harald not being possessed in Elbaf

There´s literally no reason for Oda to show Imu´s power through a vessal in a flashback for an arc, and make Gunkimu 10x weaker. Thats unironically delusional

Too many people where saying that a couple chapters ago lol,I made a theory that Loki could have the God of war fruit and that he has a past connection like Davy jones/rocks etc and his fruit was on the same level of narrative in power when it was hyped up by Everyone as world ending and apocalyptic.

He is obviously Gonna be as important as Luffy eos we have never seen a fruit in the same hype group as Lokis,Luffy and primebeards (a paramecia which is not even the strongest fruit class)

fruits that have the level of hype are backed up by very strong welders on their own

It’s what happens when editors are too intimidated and mangaka believe their own hype.
