It was more about TMI. If someone played very actively and towny and drops off I have paranoia usually about them "scum losing steam the longer the game goes, because you cannot suspend such scum performance in a long run, lying gets too hard". So I wondered if town you don't have that. But you kinda answered that. We'll see. Like, I can see why Flower was putting me into poe (?) last phase :P She has higher expectations.
If you save a kitten from a tree every day for a week, and then go 3 months without saving a single kitten, the absence of kitten-saving does to me negate the instances of good kitten-saving that you did.
Now, if you saved a kitten from a tree every day for a week, then went out and murdered a bus full of nuns, that would definitely mitigate the "good" kitten saving that you did.
I'm not saying your first couple of days of play have been comparable to saving kittens, but if I think multiple posts come from the perspective of somebody who is town, and are difficult to post from the perspective of scum, then that read doesn't end just because you are less present for a couple of days.
I suppose the good(?) thing about being new to this player list is that I have no real expectations beyond those that I've read from others. I'm not sure Flower ever TR'd you as strongly as I do.
Recency bias is a phenomenon where you associate positive connotations with people who you have most recently played in the thread/interacted with and negative ones that have not been playing for some time.
I'm not aware of having recency bias. For example, my read on Juliet actually improved when she disappeared (and I realised Rej spewed her town), and whilst I haven't interacted overly much with hime or Hayumi, my 'generally okay' feelings about them have not changed despite their absences.
I'll try to be aware of the recency bias thing, though.
