In Overlord I was the deep scum after Hime who we worked to establish as Town was randomly killed by a Townie who wasn’t paying attention. Yoho still shaded me for no reason all game even though I was our team‘s wincon and drew unnecessary attention towards my slot. When I yelled at him for it he just laughed it off and continued the shade.
Well, I suppose that kind of explains why I wasn't able to get a solid read on him when I read a large chunk of his ISO. I'm used to scum playing in a more calculated way, and whilst some his posts did seem calculated, there were enough that seemed random/unconnected to anything that I was getting some town pings as well.

Good job several other players were on their toes.

Or bussing him.

Take your pick.

Your coaching him clearly didn't work, because he was lynched.
Well that's not what I'm saying happened by virtue of me town reading him.

I don't really get where the co fusion is coming from but I'm saying I don't see it as likely that BTAM subs in and immediately goes after his scum mate. BTAM as scum is the kind of scum player who coaches his mates up and makes them look good off of his flip. He prepares himself for being killed sooner or later and accounts for it by creating a game state that's hard to solve.

Then in an entirely seperate point, I explained how Yoho thinks. He resists being told what to do and does not have a head for strategy. If he feels like doing something he will do it regardless of how it looks. So the idea that he would see town v town and try and take one side to pocket them etc just goes too deep into the sort of thinking Yoho does. He's very "level 1".

I was joking. I TR Shui and BATM has continued to be towny since subbing into that slot.

I guess my mafia-related humour is a little too off-beat.

Specifically bc town Reloaded would be expected to read Yohoe regardless like I mentioned initially, so I don’t think him actually flipping scum clears him in any world from being potentially paired.

Especially considering he himself wasn’t the one spearheading it despite supposedly clocking him as scum immediately.

Even based off the posts Yohoe had at the time of his read I personally didn’t think it was enough to have that amount of confidence in early day 1
My biggest gripe is still that Reloaded spent 12 irl days tunneling Yoho

but my other gripe is that I don’t think u can place “this is what a town should look like and be capable of” labels on anyone. I’ve seen town make god tier scumreads that seem impossible for anyone to make. I’ve seen town troll the entire game. It makes it super hard to make “this is not how a towny should act” accusations bc the truth is there’s so many ways to play town that just bc u don’t understand it doesn’t mean a town couldn’t do it. I’m just saying it’s a skill issue trap I’ve fallen into many times before and it’s specifically why I ask the question “does this make sense for mafia to do?” And not “does this make sense for town to do” cuz the truth is town players do a bunch of wild and baffling stuff it’s not even worth trying to call someone mafia just bc of baffling behavior

Next time trust people who are more familiar with the guy.

I mean I have been voting him since day 1. He’s never not going to be in my POE at this point he’s done absolutely nothing to get town read, and he usually isn’t that hard to do so with.
Fair enough.

I did have Reloaded mildly spewed town by Rej, but with relatively low confidence compared to several other players Rej spewed.

The only time I've seen BTAM as scum push a scum mate is when his scum mate was a strong player who could hold their own in a confrontation and the plan they had was to clash early and often to create distance without actually needing to bus. Now I don't think BTAM would *never* bus because I'm sure if the game state etc called for it he would, but he wouldn't go to that as a defacto option if he could help it. I disagree with Hayumi's characterisation of his scum play there, I think it's way off the mark.

Do you think that says anything about Hayumi? Shade? Honest mistake?
