To be honest I think she could be a solid character with a few tweaks.
One: Get rid of the Oden thing. Just completely overhaul it. It's corny, insensitive (saying you're an 8 year old's dead father to his face multiple times is worth getting punched in the gut for), and just unnecessary. The Oden glaze in Wano was generally unnecessary but Yamato making that her whole personality was especially bad.
Two: Make her a dual swordswoman like in Oda's drafts. I know there's already a lot of sword users in the verse and all, but, just think about it. It makes more sense for her to idolize a swordsman if she also uses swords, doesn't it? And we'd also have an actually strong swordsman in Wano besides Oden and Ryuma, which Wano arc surprisingly lacked for some reason even though it's literally the land of the swordsmen. Plus the only other swordsman with cryomancy and a Mythical Zoan in the verse is Nusjuro.
Three: Make her idolize Ushimaru instead of Oden (although she still shouldn't praise him TOO much or it's just the Oden thing all over again). He fights with Nitoryu, just like Oden, so my idea of her also fighting that way still makes sense here, and it's better if she was inspired by the great uncle of Zoro more than Oden as he saved her life in the cave, plus it'd give her more of a connection to the Straw Hats and would make her joining later feel more natural
