Anyway, I don't see a reason to think the HKs are actually weak because of this. Sommers was never even overwhelmed in a fight by anyone that wasn't a bonafide top tier, neither was Gunko, and Killingham only took one attack so far, after which they immediately got together and jumped on his ass before he could do anything to stop them.
We haven't seen the Holy Knights fight with any real determination yet. I think them seeing Imu in his true form will make them realize that they can't keep being haughty and playing with their food, and they'll show how strong they really are for once.
They are CDs, after all, and it's not like this is the first time we saw a strong CD (or strong villain in general) holding back and taking attacks on purpose because of their ego. The Gorosei did a similar thing in Egghead.
