Odd question. What actually is the most democratic state in the Middle East?

Western media has conventionally said it was Israel, but the occupation of Gaza and the West Bank obviously casts doubt on these claims.

The gulf states are all monarchies. Iran is a dictatorship.

I was looking into Lebanon. They seem promising. But while better than Israel, they don’t really treat Palestinians well either. You basically have generations of them born in Lebanon without citizenship.

Would it be a North African country? Tunisia perhaps?

What relevance does that have to do with Democracy, Democracy is why the Rape incident was even exposed

Only Sunni want Palestinians to get citizenship in Lebanon, you know why

Democracies can occupy land and still be a democracy tf lmao

Why am I being quoted? My post still stands. There were people dumb enough to claim they were going to neuter themselves over Trump winning an election. Spaying yourself like a stray cat because you can't handle an election result is in fact still idiotic. Lol.

Also, additional counterpoint, I've never been a Trump supporter.
Trump got hit with the current Shittenyahu curse that is going around. The Israeli PM comes over for a visit and Donald is now talking mad smack about another potential Middle East invasion, this time against Iran in order to defend Israel from the consequences of its own choices.
His support base supports him because he isn't a neo-con warhawk. If he starts talking like one and not putting "America first!", voters are going to lose interest in him.
They support him out of desperation, out of the belief that he will meaningfully change something. That he will halt the decline, that he will stop the endless overseas wars fought in the interests of Raytheon's profits and that he will "drain the swamp" of the oligarchs that hold the real power.

They think to themselves that Trump just didn't get the chance to drain it last time, that his time was simply cut short, that he didn't quickly acquire enough power to curb the oligarchs, that the COVID-19 pandemic stole his momentum, that he was undermined by loyal swamp denizens in his administration like Pence and Bolton.

Trump was a snake oil salesman that sold them the product of himself and just like any salesman what he really wanted was personal profit. He's never going to drain the swamp. He's as much a toad as the rest of its denizens.

The only thing he truly hated about the oligarch political dynasties was that he and his clan weren't amongst their ranks. The reason the established dynasties hate him is because they hate the idea of an outsider waltzing in and setting his own place at the table without kissing feet first. The petty lawfare launched against him was very much real. Apart from that, Trump is useful in making voters believe that there is some meaningful fundamental choice to be made when there actually isn't.

Trump will still ultimately answer to the same interests as the rest of the political establishment, just like he did last time because it was in his personal interest to. There will be no meaningful change because the system is designed so that people cannot vote against it. There is no voting out of the quagmire that is the swamp. The Hegemony Wars waged in the interests of Raytheon's wallet and BlackRock's investments will continue, Yanks and their children will die to to defend apartheid Zionism and the oligarchs will continue to plunder the decaying corpse of the United States until there is nothing left to horde.

Nothing short of revolution or separatism is going to allow people to escape the system.
Trump is just a symptom of American decline, not the cause. The only reason no other President started open conflict with Iran wasn't because they were more moral or respectful of human life or whatever, it was because they weren't stupid enough to try it due to strategic weakness. Trump is the first US president dumb enough to unequivocally listen to Satanyahu Mileikowsky and he's gotten burned for it. Lol.
