You don't need to. It's counted by people who have read Manga. And Sakura barely does it.
And you missed the entire point of my post. Nami brutalizing Luffy, the man who saved her life and family and city and dream and existence, hundreds of chapters and in-verse years into story over something miniscule and funny isn't because Oda wants to show she's grew up orphan (and if it is then holy shit that's laughably shit writing) It's because it's a funny Japanese 90s manga trope that almost all shonen leads do.
It's not that deep. And trying to make Nami brutalizing Luffy in chapter 1xxx over a derp thing he said deep actually makes her comically stupid as a character, if anything.
You can like whatever you like, but if you're taking cheap comedy that seriously and cherry picking when to take it seriously amd how on top of that, you're just not honest with yourself on reasons why you dislike or like characters. Maybe you don't even realize that
Or if that really is the case, I can only suggest focusing on actual character and plot and writing the authors want to portray rather than once ever 100 chapters comedic scenes to determine quality of writing. Probably will lead to a more pleasant experience
