the problem with characters that are mostly about getting stronger and being the combatant of their respective group is that the fans of that character will believe that character has to be incredibly strong 24/7 or there's no point to them
that's why to this day a lot of zoro fans keep trying to claim he's a top tier and at least equal to the Admirals if not above
Sanji fans aren't incentivized to do that usually since he's not a strength-focused character like Zoro, obviously he's very strong and is equal to Zoro but it's not a part of his character, he's beloved for completely different reasons
so you'll never see sanji fans say something as stupid as "sanji will kill dr loki" (not to say some Sanji fans don't have horrible takes, it's just not as common), while zoro fans legitimately believed zoro could and would kill dr loki
they don't really understand zoro as a character and just treat him as some god who should never bleed or be overwhelmed by anyone or anything, it's weird
