Nah I really don’t even think this is his hybrid, I think this is just human form Imu tbh. I know he has awakening clouds but I don’t care, I literally think we are seeing his base form.

I think it makes more sense for Oda to show us the human form first, so that later when we get the beast form, the reveal is much more shocking. I have high expectations for this beast form. These silhouettes look nothing like the actual reveal, I expect Imu’s beast form to be insane.

I think Oda won’t even show us a hybrid form on Elbaph tbh. I think Imu in his beast form will be of a similar size to Nidhoggr Loki, hell a hybrid Loki will probably be dwarfed by beast form Imu.

Imu definitely is a human who has eaten a devil's fruit so logically this should be his hybrid form. Your point only makes sense if imu is some kind of devil species and not a human. Anyways his full zoan form will be different and more massive.

Well keep in mind, Imu is at least 800 years old, depending on exactly how old he is, Imu could be a primordial being from an earlier species. This is a common trope in fiction that humans are descended from demons/inhuman species, Imu could be a member of a species that pre-dated humanity. Imu being a human could be like Kaido or Loki being humans, which is that technically they aren’t. Imu literally may not be a human, which would make perfect sense when you consider that the Gorosei believe him to be a God and the CD’s don’t even think that they themselves are human.

This chapter is a good setup for black fire Jambe Sanji. We all thought Gaban would be Sanji's sensei this arc, but it's actually sensei Imu sama coming in with his 900 old demonic flames.


I guess Zoro could also learn something from Imu sensei, maybe he'll grow an Asura tail to hold an extra fourth sword.

Not just black flames, but also devil Sanji
Black flames are one ting but blocking with his legs and then attacking with a kick with Black flames
It's like Oda's telegraphing what Sanji could potential achieve with that interaction.
Not saying Sanji is going to be as strong as Imu btw before mofos come for me lol
On Zoro I think it's going to be CoC mass related but who knows maybe he gets a black blade this arc.

PL boosts this arc are most likely going to be biggest we've seen till date.

Unfortunately many still have Roger > Shanks > Loki take and ignore new info revealed during flashback.
