Anyways, AP-wise, I’m betting on Loki. Gear 5 might be able to resist more of Imu’s attacks, thanks to his toon force dura.

G5 has never been threatened by an attack before, even Destroyer Bagua didn’t do much. Oda can make him as strong as he wants for 5 minutes

So now the argument is that G5 Luffy within the confines of his time limit is stronger than Loki (i.e. Loki god tier, aka only second to Imu, aka beyond top tiers of the the past and current Era)
Luffy who within the confines of his time limit was unable to dominate either Kaido or little old Kizaru who by y'all admission are much weaker than Loki?

No, I think current G5 should be competitive with Loki. Not stronger though, not even during G5 given Loki's hybrid is still yet to be revealed.

I’ve never seen g5 be in any real danger, so defense-wise, his limit is unknown. If he uses much stronger attacks that he didn’t show prior then that just means that Oda also buffed him, and Kaido won’t scale to his current feats.

I'm just curious how those that are convinced that Loki is god tier/only second to Imu in the verse, much stronger than any top tier either of the past or the current era justify Nika outpeforming Loki or matching his feats at worst in the upcoming chapters given Nika only just one arc ago was going blow for blow with Kizaru
