The point is that you cant assume Shanks can do to Mihawk what he did to GB because Mihawk is Shanks confirmed superior. Ryuma is revered as 'god', you put these two in comparison with GB who twerked to Mihawks inferiors haki and you can see why we have issue with GB forging a black blade.

How do you thing Gandhi scales to that? Wasn't he supposed to be Zoro's quasi final fight?
