brother

mohawk literally told zoro he could make his blade into a kokuto when teaching zoro about coa

kokuto is coa related. it is not coc or maki
Not really reread it,

First Mihawk was asking Zoro if He broke his Sword, then Mihawk said If u infused Haki with it, it wouldn't be broken which means CoA. Then saying Every Weapon can turned into Black Blade like Mine without mentioning Haki or CoA, if u think thats a continuous Conversation from before, wouldn't Zoro should knew how to forged an Black Blade at that time?
If its really CoA then why he is wondering about it on Wano?

In the end this conversation had a vague meanings. Either it can be mean turned temporarily or Permanently.

To me Basic CoA or even Master CoA only capable to maintain the Black Blade esque temporarily. We've seen it on multiple Top Tiers.

Plus if its only CoA Haki, then Shouldn't Top Tiers like Roger WB etc had their weapon become Black Blade?

Luffy is probably back in the next chapter looking at the spoilers. Imu and Joy Boy being friends but having different ways to achieve “peace” is interesting. Maybe it’s similar to Hashirama, Madara or Gojo and Geto.

"every weapon can turn into a black blade like mine"

what do you think he was talking about there? while he was teaching zoro coa?

"like mine" refers to perma black blade cause that's what his is lol

ya'll finding new ways to cope and refute canon manga statements from your own favs

Imu and Mihawk fight in the same way and have similar swords; both are confirmed swordsmen
Not only that, but their style of behavior is also similar. Imu was probably a lonely warrior on the battlefield. Like Mihawk.

So they are indeed similar to Gatz and Griffith, but Imu is Gatz

Also, if Shanks is somehow related to JB than battle between Shanks and Mihawk was the same as JB vs Imu
