If Luffy out performs everyone else will the fandom say he had help or Imu was tired because Luffy fought him last?

Imo the best outcome for Luffy writing wise is for him to get dominated most of the battle but it ends with him pulling some crazy new move/PU that impresses both Loki and Imu , that way the story stays relatively coherent without it being a L for him

I disagree with some of these. But either way it’s clear that Luffy has constantly gotten stronger. He also seems to be ready to fight Imu seriously, which is something he hasn’t done for anyone in G5 yet.

You nailed this post was purely to point out the obvious which is that you can’t make certain segments of the fanbase happy unless it furthers their agenda.

Imu so far is in perfect condition. He used his regen only once so far.

I expect Oda to have Luffy be stronger the more food he eats now. Kinda like in Dragon Ball.

It is a self belief that Luffy has though, and with how G5 powers work, he is going to be stronger than what we have seen from him. That's how he is going to slowly counter G5 time limit and also become stronger.

G5 is the most ridiculous power in the world according to the Gorosei, it's only limited by his imaginations.
