While there's been more done story wise with it, Loki is actually mostly being carried by having really powerful Haki(The first thing noted about him by Luffy is his Haki). Nidhogg isn't actually *crazy* Op in 1v1 fighting situations, it just gives him a clear advantage over Harald and has some sort of connection to Imcel.

He has perennial youth now. He only had a Deep Sea Pact when he was a HK, he has an Abyssal Pact now that he's a Gorosei.

His lightning alone is already better than the Goro Goro no Mi's.

Pretty sure it just speaks the fact that mythical zoans are a status symbol for Celestial Dragons, not for entirely combat reasons.

Shamrock having a Zoan for his sword could just be something that's a status symbol, and for Oda to use the monsters/devils themes with the Gorosei

Let's not act like current OP fights are not mostly solved by hitting harder, if Nidhogg gives the most raw stats boost out of any fruit it is enough to nearly make it god tier

When your arguments end up focused on fanfiction, it's obviously heavily flawed.

Why can't the Yami, as it is, be his main card? It fits thematically with his character
