After Gaban basically confirmed GV was the biggest event in Roger Pirates life when it comes to battle, I think it's genuinely over. Roger biggest accomplishment was 2 vs 1 DR Xebec, there's no some secret event where he had to be much sronger

Why does Kuzan need another flashback lol? We already got a flashback explaining how me met Garp and how he got so strong. I don’t think we need Kuzan to have some sob story about how he joined the Marines because some pirate killed his family, he was clearly just a naive kid who joined the Marines because he wanted to do good

Kuzan's joined two organizations in his life, it's pretty obvious people have questions about one of them,and it's not the Marines.

It would focus on the year between him fighting sakazuki, losing, the year in between, then some of his activities in the BBP

Only thing I can think about that would imply some level of growth from Roger and peers is that Garp did train to smash Chinjao's head. That's pretty much the only concrete scene one can stand on to push the idea that the old gen were not at or near their prime in GV...

Aside from Kaido/BM I just don't think it matters. I mean people can fantasize about true prime Old Gen but I don't think we'll ever see anything better than DR Xebec vs Roger/Garp from them, Gaban using GV as a point of reference basically cemented it.
