DEFENSE OPENING STATEMENT
On Behalf of the Loki Fan Club
Presented by DarkestKnightofSpoilers

May it please the Court, Your Honors, distinguished members of the jury, and whatever remains of this forum’s collective sanity.

The prosecution would have you believe that Mr. Reloaded is a victim.

A prisoner.

A man held captive against his will by the dreaded Loki Fan Club.

The defense intends to demonstrate that nothing could be further from the truth.

First and foremost, let us establish a fact that even the prosecution has struggled to dispute:

Mr. Reloaded joined the Loki Fan Club voluntarily.

No coercion.

No threats.

No manipulation.

No midnight raid by Loki enthusiasts dragging him into membership against his will.

He walked through our doors of his own accord, proudly declaring his allegiance and embracing the club’s cause.

The prosecution itself has acknowledged the following:

1. The prosecution has established a plausible claim that Mr. Reloaded wishes to leave the Loki Fan Club.
2. The defense has asserted that membership was entered voluntarily.
3. The jury has already demonstrated a concerning lack of discipline.
4. The Court still has not been informed whether a buffet exists.

Of these four facts, only one is currently under dispute.

And it is not the buffet.

Now, the prosecution wishes you to see our client as an innocent soul seeking freedom.

But the evidence will show a very different pattern.

Mr. Reloaded possesses a long and distinguished history of infiltrating fan clubs, earning their trust, spreading chaos, and then abandoning them at the first available opportunity.

Some call it trolling.

Some call it betrayal.

The Loki Fan Club calls it Tuesday.

We know exactly who Mr. Reloaded is.

We know his habits.

We know his schemes.

We know his strange obsessions.

We know every questionable agenda he has attached himself to over the years.

And despite all of that…

We accepted him.

Not because he was perfect.

Not because he was loyal.

Not because he was sane.

But because he was one of us.

The prosecution attempts to portray the Loki Fan Club as a cult unwilling to release its members.

The truth is far simpler.

We are the only fan club that continues to love and support Mr. Reloaded despite his many documented flaws.

When other fan clubs saw a backstabber, we saw a brother.

When others saw a menace, we saw potential.

When others closed their doors, we welcomed him.

The Loki Fan Club never abandoned Mr. Reloaded.

The Loki Fan Club never judged Mr. Reloaded.

The Loki Fan Club embraced him exactly as he was.

And now, after all these years, after all the memes, allegations, betrayals, agendas, and questionable interests, we are told that we should simply let him loose upon the unsuspecting fandoms of this forum.

Your Honors, members of the jury:

Would that truly be justice?

Or would it be reckless endangerment?

The defense will show that Mr. Reloaded is not being held prisoner.

He is being protected.

And perhaps more importantly—

Everyone else is being protected from him.

The Loki Fan Club is not a prison.

It is a home.

A sanctuary.

A containment facility built upon friendship, memes, and mutual suffering.

At the conclusion of this trial, we are confident that you will reach the only reasonable verdict:

Mr. Reloaded joined willingly.

Mr. Reloaded was welcomed wholeheartedly.

And regardless of how much chaos he causes—

The Loki Fan Club will continue to love him as one of its own.

Thank you

What is a cult?

Is it a bunch of Carrot fans celebrating their beloved character, who was left behind in the cursed land of misogyny known as Wano?

No, only @Bepo D. Bear and @Pot Goblin are cultists, and, everyone else there is an innocent fan of the character.

The Loki "Fanclub" operates differently.

Like scientologists, they refuse to let their members go, while stalking them on social media and making false claims about them and their character, even going as far at times as to claim that @Mr. Reloaded murdered his ex wife when he had already been cleared in a court of law, and two other known cultists had been found guilty.

The Conejo Club and other fanclubs have never been willing to hold our client hostage. I'd like to make it clear that while my client is a known furry, he has never been convicted as a scalie in a court of law, and we will consider any affronts against his character to be liable and pursue the full weight of the law against them.

In fact, many fan clubs have resorted to banning our client, due to his prolific nature of backstabbing them. The idea that someone who's known for backstabbing cults and then leaving them while laughing into the night is actually this committed to a character is absurd.

I'd argue the only character and fan base my client refuses to betray is Blackbeard.

There is simply no precedent for a fan club holding a member hostage when they've admitted they clearly don't like the character that much, and were mostly trolling when glazing them.

This is a classic forum misunderstanding of people, not realizing the sarcasm and trolling going on in a scenario. I once newer user on the internet, who was a part of a flat earth group and assumed that it was just a joke reddit. It was only two years later that they realized everything the people posted there, were not joking memes, but things they truly believed.

Clearly, the people that believed carrot had a chance to join the crew are the equivalent of flat earthers in the one piece community. Many people who view our client as a furry due to his unfortunate conviction, which we maintain is clearly another misunderstanding, also view him as a scalie, a man lusting for thick, juicy dragon tail to wrap his arms around as he gets married in holy matrimony. Ahem.

Our client is not into Loki, beyond finding him to be an interesting powerful character that is most likely going to have significant ramifications for the end game of the series.

This is nowhere near enough to warrant any kind of fan base allegiance.

The amount of stalking, false accusations, and outright fabrications of the truth speak for themselves.

This is a personal grudge, between a man who has irritated the Loki fandom. However, under the crazy and plot armored Sun God Nika, we are all given the right to troll.

@Mr. Reloaded has committed no crime by trolling, but, to stalk, harass and lie about a man simply making Loki memes, then finally hold him against his will, are all despicable criminal acts.

@DarkestKnightofSpoilers is a criminal mastermind, using another, more powerful pirate's image to gain his following, and destroying anyone who tries to stand against him, using the cultists he has amassed.

In the underworld, I've heard him called, Demaro Darkest.

This criminal enterprise must be stopped before they threaten the very ethical fabric of our forum, full of delusional power scaling and people outright lying about what actually happened in the manga.

What if people start being forced to be like, Smoothie fans?

Ohh hell no.

Ain't nobody got time for that.

The precedent that forcing people to stay in fandoms, they don't want to stay in sets is incredibly dangerous.

We believe we have the evidence to prove that our client has been forced against his will to stay within this cult, he once innocently believed was a fan club.

We had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but the brazen and insidious behavior of the cult has left us no choice but to pursue this action.

Everyone has a right to join a fan club and leave it.

The fact that our client's basic wishes have been ignored is disgusting and has caused him great trauma.

Falsely being associated with this fan club has led people to believe he is into big sexy dragons.

But that's me ladies and gentlemen. I like big sexy dragons. Just because our client knows me, it does not mean he's into the same things.

Our client is into human women.

Gigantic difference literally.

Our client wants to detach from characters that will continue to have people question whether they're into furry or scalie conent.

I am also not accusing the Loki Fanclub of being scalies.

They are just cultists.

And they must be stopped in the name of justice, like Loki himself, when he attacked all of Elbaph and they were forced to band together to contain him.

Let us protect every user's right to be able to join and leave a fan club.

Enough of the Loki fanclubs tyranny.

Let our client be free to backstab another fandom fairly and legally.

@AL sama @Sir Yasheen

Your honors, I'd like to keep my opening statement short, as we have an individual case going against Mr. Reloaded.

I am speaking as owner of the Gunko fanclub, having Mr. Reloaded as a member of our club and showing solidarity with the Loki fanclub.

Both Gunko and Loki are victims under Imu's tyrany.

We are operating uncoordinated with the other members of the defense. I am demanding that @Bepo D. Bear brings forward their main defense case, as I'd like to hammer the final nail in the coffin for this case. The Gunko fanclub posses immense information and proofs that it's in Reloaded's best interest to remain in the Loki fanclub.

Thank you counselor. Now that both sides have given their opening statements, and likely bribes, I will allow my fellow judge the honorable @AL sama to issue the next phase at his leisure

Your Honors,
The prosecution thanks Mr. Rej for his statement.
However, I find it rather curious that a representative of the Gunko Fanclub has voluntarily stepped forward to defend the continued captivity of Mr. Reloaded.

Let us be clear.
Mr. Rej claims that both Loki and Gunko are victims of Imu's tyranny. Yet somehow, his proposed solution to tyranny is... forcing another individual to remain in a fan club against his will.
An interesting definition of freedom.
Even more concerning is Mr. Rej's admission that the defense is operating uncoordinated. The defense cannot even agree amongst themselves on a coherent strategy, and yet we are expected to trust them with determining what is in Reloaded's "best interest."

Your Honors, history has taught us many lessons, but one of the most important is this:
Whenever someone says "I know what's best for you," freedom is usually the first casualty.
Mr. Rej further claims that the Gunko Fanclub possesses "immense information" proving that Reloaded should remain within the Loki Fanclub.

The prosecution welcomes this evidence.
Because until such evidence is presented, these are merely grand claims without substance.

We are not here to decide what the Loki Fanclub wants.
We are not here to decide what the Gunko Fanclub wants.
We are here to decide what Mr. Reloaded wants.

And Mr. Reloaded has made his position abundantly clear:

He wishes to leave.

The defense continues to speak about what benefits Reloaded.
The prosecution speaks about what Reloaded himself has chosen.
That, Your Honors, is the difference between freedom and control.

We eagerly await the defense's evidence.

Your Honors, dear members of the jury,

@Tyki_Mikk has presented us with a heartbreaking story.

A tale of captivity.

A tale of oppression.

A tale of a man allegedly trapped within the Loki Fan Club against his will.

There is only one small problem.

Mr. Reloaded joined voluntarily. Nobody dragged him in. Nobody tricked him. Nobody kidnapped him under the cover of darkness and forced Loki merchandise into his hands. He signed up himself.

And after joining, he did not behave like a hostage. Quite the opposite.

@Mr. Reloaded enjoyed every privilege of membership. He participated in club activities. He accepted the benefits. He enjoyed the status. He laughed, celebrated, and happily remained among his fellow members.

Your Honors, this is not the behavior of a prisoner. This is the behavior of a VIP Loki club member.

Mr. Reloaded claims he was forced into the Loki Fan Club.

Who forced him?

When?

How?

Where are the witnesses?

Where is anything beyond his own statement?

And now we arrive at perhaps the most troubling piece of evidence in this entire case.

Witnesses have reported seeing Mr. Reloaded wearing a Ragnir fursuit.

Not once.

Not accidentally.

Not as part of an undercover operation.

A full Ragnir fursuit.

The defense asks the court:

How oppressed can a man truly be if he has enough freedom to dress up as Ragnir and parade around the premises?

The prosecution would have you believe that Mr. Reloaded was suffering in silence. Yet somehow his suffering included enjoying every club benefit available and allegedly attending events dressed as a giant fur-covered One Piece character.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, that is not captivity. That is commitment. One cannot spend years at the banquet table (yes there is a buffet @DarkestKnightofSpoilers), eat the feast, wear the costume, enjoy the privileges, and then claim to have been chained to the chair.

Furthermore, the prosecution has offered no evidence beyond emotional speeches and questionable hashtags.

#FreeReloaded is not evidence. It is marketing.

The prosecution tells us this case is about freedom.

We agree.

Freedom includes the freedom to make choices. And freedom also includes accepting responsibility for those choices. One cannot spend years sitting comfortably in the Loki Fan Club lounge and then suddenly claim to have been kidnapped.

The defense therefore submits that Mr. Reloaded is not the victim of imprisonment. He is merely experiencing a severe case of membership regret after years of enthusiastic participation.

Upon joining the Loki Fan Club, Mr. Reloaded voluntarily signed the standard membership agreement. The bylaws are clear: any member observed wearing a Ragnir fursuit automatically renews their membership for an additional five years. Mr. Reloaded was reportedly seen in such attire on multiple occasions. The defense regrets to inform the court that Mr. Reloaded has triggered this clause repeatedly and that he is currently contracted until approximately 2046.

Therefore we ask the court to reject this absurd narrative.

The Loki Fan Club did not imprison Mr. Reloaded. Mr. Reloaded simply discovered that leaving a legendary institution is far more difficult than joining one.

The defense rests.

And then we have Bepo D. Bear.

Your Honors, members of the jury, I trust I do not need to elaborate extensively. The user is an unapologetic Bepo fanatic. That fact alone should raise serious concerns regarding her judgment. Furthermore, this court may recall that she has previously been found guilty in connection with the tragic case involving Mrs. Reloaded. If that does not make one question the character of the defense, I do not know what will.
With all due respect, that is a bold statement coming from someone who voluntarily supports Lortmund :GoodLuck:

Also its Wepo for you :lawbepo:

No, only @Bepo D. Bear and @Pot Goblin are cultists, and, everyone else there is an innocent fan of the character.
