To be fair - it's a bit underwhelming. Luffy and Loki are no joke but most expected a bit more from Imu especially based on what he did at God Valley and beforehand on Elbaph. One can just hope Imu has a Frieza like ability to change forms and that this is only a "weak" form.

They Take The Story to the next level, Especially in the Post Timeskip Era. Oda removing this dynamic for 5 years was his biggest mistake post timeskip. Dressrosa and Wholecake Island needed this dynamic more than any other arc honestly.

That is assuming Growlo is still alive. A weird thing among the HKs is that only Gunko seems to not age. Garling and Summers are old as fuck and not granted the same privileges as Gunko.
I assume the FB was only Brook's perspective/Part 1. Its why he seems like a unreliable narrator. Things are moving behind the scenes that he wasnt aware of.

Its meant to raise questions. Gunko probably gets one later which gives us answers.
Why she doesnt age. Why she gets preferrential treatment. Why Growlo didnt take Candel to Mariejois as CDs usually do and waited 15 years to strike Esperia and get Shuri. Why is Mars himself getting personally involved.

I mean, at the core, we know its Candel being involved in some way.
