Did he lose? Yeah, but, this paved the way to Brook's future, and Shuri's potential redemption.

Anyone who actually thinks that the Celestial Dragons were going to leave Esperia alone after they gave up Shuri is CRAAAAAAAAAAZY, LOL, they were going to keep coming back for more like the trash they are.

I would have kept it at 50/50 but Luffy and Loki fruit works in similar level.
- Both of them feels exhaustion from using the fruit too much in a small span of time.
- Both recovers from eating food nearly instantly.
Luffy and Loki already got their tanks empty after first 1v1. Then they were eating food again. Now they are as good as new again.

Well Kaido‘s AdCoC was stronger than Luffy‘s at the beginning for obvious reason, we don‘t know if Imu is tougher than Kaido. Stronger high likely, but tougher who knows, unless you count Imu‘s immortality and regen hax as tougher, then yeah for sure.

To the last point well let‘s shall wait for the chapter.

It is certainly a possibility. Do you remember when Loki said he can‘t stay too long in his Zoan fruit. Had to be during their fight vs Gunkumu iirc

He wasn‘t a nothing burger Oda teased a lot with Kaido‘s cryptic statements, but ended without any payout. He was a mess created by Oda‘s horrendous storytelling and as you said wasted potential. At least his goofyness during the Rocks flashback redeemed him a little bit
