Tbh, if Luffy beats or even takes down Imu this arc... who will be left to oppose him?
How would BB or even Shanks, much less any other member of the WG, pose a real threat to Luffy in a 1v1?
Even if this ends in a stalemate or a Luffy defeat (like Kaido clobbering him at Kuri), the rest of the story will only have Imu as a competent foe.
