There's been some good parts, but Oda has ultimately doubled down on Nika worship to a comical degree

All the other SHP and their dreams are basically irrelevant to the broader plot of Soyboy returning through Luffy, and they'll probably never be able to do anything to Imcel, like even push him to low diff.

Again, i dont really agree, Loki got way more screen time and shine i expected. For example, even now he is not defeated which is very unusual if you compare it to other arc heroes. Even people like Wyper got k.oed before luffy took over

I hope Oda makes the most of the Sommers fight. I know many don't care for it and Sommers is definitely not the hyped up enemy Zoro often faces, but he has regen and he has a good fruit. I've been saying he should get an awakening to give Zoro something to want to overcome.

As for Sanji. It's gonna be good. Looking back, Baratie did indeed offer a lot of suggestions that Sanji had a strong will but was stifling it for Zeff's sake hence his encounters with Luffy and Zoro kinda left him reflecting a lot on their ambitions. Not a shock that he'll be the third Straw Hat to display CoC. Soon. As for the rest of the fight, I hope it's intense. Post-CoC will be interesting cause perhaps Future Sight can be worked towards in his next major fight.

Loki is for now, a good counter example, I agree.( i think he's done next chapter tho...)

I mean, if you believe that it is what it is, but that's a whole different conversation and has nothing to do with Elbaf being currently written badly or something, or no one but Luffy mattering in this arc
If anything, the opposite is true this is one of the rare arcs where the henchmen operate independently and execute the real plan so its not about just luffy punching out the big bad guy

And the sommer Zoro is going to fight will be harder to defeat since he got Omen boost.

When you acount in that Killingam had gone from being defeated and mocked by Sanji to about to force sanji to use advcoc the boost sommer received will be even higher.

We are definitely about to witness a great fight expecialy in Elbaf where there is a large three sommer can use to further enhance his ability.

Zoro will show dc that will surpass Dressorora.

Sommers has the history of the OldLegends, he really should be on that Current Rayleigh , Gaban, Garp tier. I’m sure Oda will flex Sommers Abilities in the Zoro fight. Zoro has to perform tho. This can’t be another Zoro Vs Lucci quality fight.

He genuinely looks like he low diffs any YC1 at this point. Most of them can’t even damage him as they don’t have ACoC, and Omen strength + his DF should let him overpower the YC1s as well.

I like him but I get the caution some have given he hasn't gotten as much as you'd expect by now. Then again, King didn't do much till Onigashima and most of his best stuff was against Zoro, so Sommers will likely follow suit.

I think the upset is more that the only quality Sommers is getting hyped (so far, obviously; he obviously got super strength for example by seeing how easly he lifting the ship and probally got other stuff too), even by you, is his regen
That's a stock ability of the contract, not sommers, so its not really relevant as long as you fight a HK be it gunko killingham or sommers
