The definition of a conqueror changed a long, long time ago. It used to be those who... y'kno, wished to be a conqueror/king of some sorts, or had king titles, or were in great positions of power etc...

Now it's just a sign that you have top-tier potential. I fully expect every major player moving forward to have CoC. Wouldn't be surprised if it's revealed the admirals all have CoC too.

Sabo essentially confirmed to be a conqueror as well, being a key player in the final arc. Coby's obvious.

The only way I have a problem with all of this is if Sanji's a conqueror and Law isn't, as Law has most definitely far demonstrated the qualities of a king much better than Sanji since even a child — at no point has Sanji ever been portrayed as Law's peer in any sense. That's the only way this is an asspull and makes no sense. Otherwise, we good.
It was never about those who wished to be a conqueror/king of some sort lmao that was just something people made up

About the how we can discuss, Ok, but the concept is another thing.

I think we can all agree that CoC being something that everyone can achieve if motivated enough (as any other haki) is better than some genetic godsent.
Yea I can get behind that. that's basically the idea behind Conqueror.

He kind of has a point though? Like, what in specific does Sanji have that other characters don’t to justify this power?
Then explain what Chinjao, Katakuri, Yamato, Ace, Rayleigh and Gaban uniquely had that justified it.

Chinjao wanted some gold under ice. Katakuri lived under Big Mom and protected his siblings. Yamato spent years imitating Oden. Ace gave up his own ambition to make Whitebeard Pirate King. Rayleigh and Gaban followed Roger.

Apparently none of that lowered the standard. The standard only “changed” once Sanji qualified, and now Sabo and Coby are suddenly guaranteed it too.

That logic starts from “Sanji cannot belong here” and works backwards.

Why is blud crying?

You see, if sanji would be a conqueror

Then he would achieve his goals by dominant means and be the best in his field actively, not passively like most others.

Gaban is just waffling, i know the manga better than oda
