I still dont see a reason for BB to have CoC and oda not show it once. Blackbeard was already able to scar shanks before he even picked up the Yami fruit, he’s been shown multiple times since the timeskip, but never used CoC not even to intimidate Law or in a flashback like ace.

Is your point that CoC is hereditary or based on a hierarchical leader role? If not, what exactly is your specific requirement for it?

I find the claim of @HeroesNZ that Law has shown better justification for CoC in every sense, over Sanji… outright ridiculous.

Sanji maintained an impossible lifelong dream through abuse, escaped Germa to choose his own identity, led the Curly Hat group, repeatedly faced hopeless opponents and offered his life for Luffy. Law wins status and formal command. Sanji compares strongly in will, guts, leadership under pressure and personal conviction.

i dont really see how the "oda hasn't shown it once" is still valid when oda is still building the conquerors list in terms of story. BB was able to scar shanks before the yami this should hint to him having it as shanks said he was not being careless and then he hypes bb will to be at the top. I know its an assumption on my part but to me not being careless shanks should mean his haki was up along with his barrier so bb should of had to bypass that with his own coc to permanently scar him. Why would coc intimidation work on law when he stood in front of kaido and bm and he kept pressing forward? I know its offscreen but as oda showed us bb fruits were more than enough to defeat law its not like bb was up against a coc coating user. We havent really touched bb flashbacks like that its pretty obvious oda is saving those.

The manga and anome especially made ot clear that kobu has coc though. This chapter doesnr even confrim thay sanji has it. Just that he has the quality to be an indovidual that one day posseses it
