@soupongo So what was even the point of making Base Sommers and Killingham as weak as they were, only to make Omen Sommers and Killingham be powerful enough to force the Wings to unlock PUs? Omen seems like yet another pointless and poorly thought out Imu ability tbh, the Base HKs could have just been that strong and it wouldn’t negatively impact the plot at all

When Oda said that the last war would make Marineford look like a joke, we assumed that it would mean, better character interactions, more shown of characters using their full powers and several good fights.

What Oda meant was that he would spam Regen powers and waste time with arbitrary powerups that somehow don't end up with the protagonists ever feeling remotely in danger even though it's technically strong or whatever
