By this type of reasoning Luffy can't never take a L since he's the MC and will always bounce back ultimately lol.
I've already witness some cope at X that Luffy Fans think Luffy wouldn't get any L cuz he is the MC regardless he was shown losing more than 1 time.
By them its never an L or its not an defeat cuz he will bounce back and win later.
But same thing don't applies to Other character especially Kizaru at "that" time.
:suresure:

Elder Lee Hung

Conqueror of the Stars
25 years old, far from prime but aight.
“Far from prime” how so? This was the age where Saint Shanks and Mihawk were having their “legendary” duals. How exactly did Saint Shanks get stronger after losing his arm? Who was he fighting? When Saint Shanks fights his crew does most of the work anyway, how exactly would Saint Shanks get stronger from say, Beckman blowing Kid’s arm off? How would that work exactly?

25 year old Saint Shanks is Saint Shanks at his peak, this man ain’t pushing Harald to mid diff

Fujishiro

Im the poisoner.

It’s just my speculation atp I’ll admit.

Kaido isn't the "Nr. 1 top tier" everyone viewed him as in Wano
Maybe it's because I'm newer to the fandom but I don't really get how he was viewed as such to begin with. WB and Roger at least already had superior if not at least equal portrayal.

Kaido had hype, sure, but even his intro pretty much seemed to describe his "most powerful" status as a rumor. At best there was an argument of him being the strongest living top tier at the time of his intro imo.

Was it because of his intro? It was a cool intro ngl.
