I honestly don’t understand why they are hyping up Loki as if he is equal to Imu. Loki is a monster, no questions about that, but everybody with a brain could tell Imu was just countering Loki this whole time. They were not equally fighting or whatever. Everytime Imu wanted to hit Loki, he did pretty casually. Loki was just there to stall for Luffy to arrive, the second Luffy arrived ge took out Loki without trying. Imu could take out Loki anytime.

Imu genuinely has less of a presence on Elbaf than Jack did on Zou, it's going to be even worse when Luffy isn't out next chapter.

This has to be a new low for any final villain in Shonen history

Luffy didn't get a Second Duel against Kuzan or Magellan, only met them again as Obstacles,
His 2nd Duel against Crocodile was after all Baroque Works Agents were already Defeated,
His 2nd Duel against Kaidou was in a completely different Island (Kaidou's HQ) & almost 100 Chapters later,

It should also be noted that this Chapter is 9th of this Current Volume, so this Imu Sub-Plot is wrapping up,
Next Volume will focus on New Sub-Plot (Probably dealing with Gunko, Sommers & Killingham once & for all),

In other words, I don't expect any Power-Up or 2nd Round for Luffy, this was the extent of his Current Power.
All that matters now, is what will Imu decide to do Next?

Do you actually think Luffy isn't out? What is he going to do? He clearly doesn't have the level for Imu, even before last page he was trying to survive by running away.
There's a higher chance of Gunko destabilizing Imu next chapter than Luffy not being on his ass

Jinbe casually blocked Imu's attacks and protected damsel Loki

Base Loki can already clash evenly with a trying Imu compared to gear 5. Hybrid Loki will be insane, it trashed HK Harald like nothing. So far, Oda‘s powerscaling is still completely rational.
