Tbf to Luffy though, felt like Imu raised the bar a bit for him. Regardless though Loki performed much better against Imu. Luffy didn’t feel like a threat at any point in this fight. That said I still don’t understand the point of the bloody food charge 💀.

No he did not .
We see bomb Imu did but they were not homing the way the following luffy.
Like what we saw in this chapter .
For eg when Imu use his bomb a time is was counter loki attack not follow him.
Just check chapter 1181 which was longest part of the fight not one homing attack vs loki.

Imu did the same thing as he did this chapter zeroing on Loki and stabbing him. Just saying.

The rest of the times Loki simply no-sold Omen's attacks:

Luffy did lol, it’s not that hard to read. Luffy ran away for 30 seconds and got one shotted 🤣. He tried to sneak Imu and his attack got no-diffed. Imu used way more effort against Loki in all of their clashes. This was a Luffy who was also fully rested, and had prior intel of Imu’s abilities THANKS to Loki.

It was not the same thing at all but different attack.
Also it not like Omen attacks did anything to luffy .
Luffy get hit with omen first fist to his head and was fine.
It the stab that fuck him .
Imu just did not get chance to hit Luffy was as much attacks but the attack he hit him with was really fuck him.
