If you "see" what's currently happening on Elbaf and your first, most logical assumption is that either Luffy will die or he'll face a Time Chamber Training Arc squeezed into 1/2/3 chapters in the middle of a fight - then you already know there's a good chance Oda will pull some total CRAZY STUPID ASS-PULL.

(which will seem 100,000 times worse since Luffy got his awakening and Gear 5 quite recently)

Either that or this End Saga will last much longer than we expected.

Well true about that, but depends on what you value more.

Kaido the cabin boy (did he even had CoC activated or at least the knowledge of how to use the basic level of CoC and certainly the advanced level of it), who just ate his DF attacking Imu in his shadow form, or Gaban who is fighting the devil version of Imu.
