It's just confusing because it says it cancels the night action, but if I understand it right, it does this:

1 - target player
2 - checks to see if that player is attacked
3 - cancels the attack
4 - attacks the bodyguard and the attacker

So in a sense the bodyguard attacks themselves I guess?

If target not attacked > nothing happens
If target attacked > BG attacks both themselves and the attacker
Target survives

But it’s only for one attack, so if there’s multiple only one attacker gets offed and the target still gets killed

Then there’s astral attacks which don’t get detected at all and bypass BG

There can technically be 3 of each kind in every game if Zem still follows old rules.

When the general trend is already oriented towards a decent lynch and NO ONE is asking about your PoE and you come out of the blue and post it randomly in the middle of a somewhat goal-hunting discussion …. Yes it is strange I would say.
it almost feels like, well if the lynch on this guy fails I would like to note these guys are also good candidates to push for a lynch after.
not necessarily saying she is scum but the general impression of someone giving PoE when we are already locked onto someone is not good, tempo-obstruction issue if you would like to call it…

How do we know it's a decent lynch? Posting a PoE makes sense because it gives a general idea of where your solve is - the timing of when this is posted is largely irrelevant. I don't think it makes her town, per se, I think it's not behaviour worth trying to read into.

Somwhow I don't like this post, it feels kinda forced. Why do you assume if there is a lynch locked in, everyone will have tunnel vision on it? I would say if it's locked in, then you have more time to talk about other topics than sitting there and waiting

You are not even my primary target my guy, I haven't even voted you once, what is forced is your post right here, because a tunnel vision on your lynch is exactly what happened, and instead of going after some of the more sus votes on you, you went for the guy who didn't even have a read on you .... now tell me which post is forced?

I honestly think she wants to get killed at night sometimes so she doesn't have to actually solve through the game. That said, if she's hinting at a specific role, she's not really giving herself a way to get out of it in future, is she?

fair enough.
I think I will change my vote on Rej, seems pointless now. Between AM and Sallucion, I choose AM, maybe even go for melkor. what do you think town next lynch candidate should be?

Can I also add that you're drawing comparisons to a game where I was serial and basically townsided for most of it, to justify a scum read - why is that? Why don't I get the "could be indie" argument, given that I was basically indie in the game you're saying I'm playing like? Why does it make me scum here?

Because that is what my gut instinct is telling me. This is why I don't like giving my reads. They don't make sense to others but I trust my gut and my gut last game was 100% correct for the entire scum alignment including the indie.
