Role Madness Jojo's Bizzare Adventure Mafia

30 min to go

@RippedCal claim vig already, so we can finish Flower
Can we all just take a min and acknowledge the eliteness of this read

"Knife throw: Target a player at night, if you are not targetted you will regular kill them in two cycles, irregardless of if you die or not before it resolves.[1-Shot] Non refillable."

so what happen with locations? is that for later today?
Night and probably doesn't impact you, it doesn't bother me
Answer 1: My ability is location based, there’s only a 1/5 chance it works in the first place. This answer is self explanatory as I already claimed I need to hit somebody in the same location.

Answer 2: Feel free to report me. I‘m not going to engage with a bad faith push for another 48h.
Not sure this was the post for my reply, but I don't think you have been bad, just can understand how the play gets super annoying to others. If you are town just start solving the game
do we get notice if we are rb?
Depends on what move you have
I can support that. But I also want pressure on RKO.
I get the thought, but how bout you take a back seat and let others steer today. Work together if you are town
its ok i lost interest yesterday.

but lets look into the cal lynch pile and see who joined in last minute
I have no further interest in the game.
already requested a sub.
this childish behavior needs to stop.
some forums consider this bannable because it massively undermines the core of the game and turn it into something that cannot be dealt with.
who says she is not scum using this start to avoid questioning? She should grow up and understand to not ruin the game experience. Or sub out if she can’t handle the heat.
I need you two to focus in. It's been fun with you two even though some of the game has been irritating
Remember you started the wagon and you wanted all the credit, he flipped town.....
It isn't shocking that Flower led a wagon, everyone joined and its wrong. It happens. What is frustrating is the lack of responsibility...if she is town that is just a terrible threadplay. Acknowledging your faults help people work together more (maybe why I still think SK)
I usually don’t like blaming mislynched players, but in this case I have to agree as there wasn’t even an attempt made by him. It just looked like scum seeing he‘s leading by a mile and not even bothering.
looking for Confirmation bias and BS. Bad read, bad lynch
I blame lynched town players 95% of the time.
Bad way to go about it. Its a group effort regardless
flower would be the most obvious LC as she started the OMGUS wagon on Cal and her only "scum" reads are those that voted her and nothing more hasnt even given an original thought of her own.

but Gianfi, York, LM would be 3 to look at based off vote pattern alone.

anywho im staying parked on flower.

she is scum, she didnt even go to Cairo and didnt prove herself.
last part here is damning as well. How bout for the sake of the phase we look elsewhere before returning
I unignored the two players in question now. Will still be skimming over their posts though. I‘m not going to put up with another 48h tunnel
Am I on ignore?
I kindly refuse for now. Because it will come out as spite, SINCE SHE DIDN’T EVEN GIVE ME THE CHANCE TO QUESTION HER.
Let's broaden our focus for now before returning
I‘m not going to sub out because I‘ve done nothing wrong this game. So don’t worry about that. I just solve the game with you and other people I think are Town.
I'd like to see some rainbow colored reads from you
It hasn’t even been 2 hours since day start what the hell happened :sob:
chaos grenade
@Flower @MUUGEN @Ali v2

Please listen, if all three of y'all are truly town. This is exactly what scum want us to do in this game. I don't want to waste another day on this cycle.

Even if y'all want to push her for a lynch can we go 24 hours, looking at other players in the game, because on the .0005% chance she is scum, there are lots more in this game.
I agree in the long run
did anyone get hit with virus?

@everyone
Nope
Oh fuck off. Like you haven’t obnoxiously screamed to off me for almost 48h when I was just playing the game normally, haven’t done anything wrong and even tried working with Luugen before that shit started. You don’t get to tell me that. There are multiple people who kept and still keep telling you I‘m just Town and you ignore their voices. Zemmi is one of the most skeptical people ever about my alignment and even she defends me. At some point when people tell you you’re drunk and should go home you should just go home and if you don’t and keep pushing the same shit then it’s on you when you‘ll ultimately have a huge egg on your face.
Calling BS on this as well. If you don't know the others are town or if you even trust them...their opinion is meaningless
I feel like I've already explained it actually.

Essentially, under the premise that Cal was scum, I was looking at who was potentially trying to position themsekves to look favourably off of his lynch. I was brought onto this track because, as I'm sure you're reading my posts and are already aware, I was arguing in favour as to why Muugen was not likely to be scum with Cal. Polar who had up until that point done effectively nothing in generating the wagon, began calling for the lynch, and clamping down on anyone who voted away from said lynch, professing a confidence level that I don't think was earned from what he showed in thread. So my thinking was, if anyone is trying to make themselves look good off of Cal, it would be him.

The issue with the case is not the Polar part. It's the Cal part. With Cal being town there whole thing is moot. I'd say, with reservations, it does look good for Polar, because as scum he typically never takes any sort of proactive measure and is what we call "frozen in scum chat" most of the time. That is to say, spends his time avoiding the thread and offering bare minimum to it. The reservation here is that this is play he is fully aware of and has previously defended himself off of it. This next part need go without saying, but once someone is aware of their tendencies, it's generally only a matter of time before they look to take advantage of it. Nevertheless, his play was more proactive towards the end of the day, and now that we know it wasn't to try and assign some credit to himself for Cal's lynch, I can only take it in good faith.
You want scum...start here. I'd lock it in even
so does any of the active actually want to give any direction/reads thoughts?

i dont see much of any scum hunting outside of zemmi but thats barely anything
I got you
i forgot how unbearable it is to play with you when your whole personality revolves around being flowers personal protector.

this game goes to show stay in retirement dont ever play if cyph, kek, or uchi are playing.
Just play around Flower. I wouldn't classify Naomi as that either. She is awesome to play with. If she is indy that may play a factor innyour thought here
imagiane outing yourself then cry and claim when you're blocked or not have an action hit....
its so bad it has to be scum imo
Sure thing.

Anyhow i used day action and IT hasn't show up on thread.

Post restriction hasn't showed up on thread either.

I'm going to assume every single WU is fake WU from now on
actions aren't showing up...people need to realize it isn't that type of game
@The Orca did you collect any of your alleged items last night? and if so do they have any value besides collectors item?
I did not and no value to me. No idea about you all

Am I down for it? I wouldn't strongly oppose it, but it wouldn't be my preference, and I'd probably only go there as a compromise today if there is an established wagon on her. I don't actively scum read her slot. I would also not say RippedCal is a must go, I'm open to Orca, and Melkor too. Those three names would be the main ones.
Well a)I don't think Orca has to be an Indie, for reasons I've already stated. I think the world in which he's scum fake claiming indie is at worst, plausible. Is it probable? I wouldn't say that either. And b) he's clearly not interested in working with the town, preferring to be an agent of chaos instead. So when I say I am open to lynching him, I'm not lynching him with 0 expectation that his flip is worthwhile for town, but the opposite. I cannot say the same for Naomi, who I think would be a loss for the town.
Why not RippedCal, who's currently leading?
Respectfully Flower, I think this is a case of you wanting Muugen to be scum more than it is you thinking he's scum with him.

To be clear I'm not saying he can't be scum at all in the world where Cal is. Just that he's almost certainly not going to be paired with Cal.
So at worst, she's indie? Let me put this another way - what part of Cal's play makes you think he shouldn't be the lynch today?
Ali I told you about this already. Why would you expect Flower to observe this? Ali I can try to reason things out with you but that's a two way street, I can't do it if you keep going back to the same points.
That's it for me for the day btw, I've got everything I wanted in thread. Reads are in an earlier post and largely unchanged. Going to reserve judgement on multibqll or not until tonight, which should make that clear anyway. I think Cal is leading but I would advise anyone who is thinking about switching to Flower to read my last post to Ali, if you can get to the end and still think she's the best lynch today then I tip my hat, I have no other words to add.
I think Cal's a hit. Seeing how many are consolidating on him now, feels like people are trying to get some extra cred. Imo Polar is suspect numero uno if Cal is scum based on how he's trying to maximise his credit around him.
I can't do anything with this Polar. It's just words.
Posts like these lock Ratchet in as scum for me

He is trying to play the parent to gain thread control and his thoughts are not why RippedCal was scum, it was putting the onus on say Ali to say why not. Then his main suspects were RippedCal (town), Me (indy), and Melkor (LHF). That's not town Ratchet. He would never focus on me who has never been indy in a game with him who claimed out the gate...as town. He isn't scum hunting as much as he is trying to control the narrative of the game imo

the toxicity levels instead of playing

i thought this be fun chill

but alot people are just petty now
Yeah. I woke up and have been trying to catch up on the overnight/sod posts before breakfast.
Every fibre in my body wants to turn around and say "nope".

I don't think Charlie, as a person, comes in to nag Flower (for this long) as scum when she is already on the edge.
He doesn't come across like that kind of opportunist.

@Zemmi
Can you give me a quick rundown on Muugen?
His game at this point is not just aggressive, but mostly disruptive.
As much as Flower and Ali have been annoyed at each other, both of them have tried to move on in their own way.

I think for some of us it might make sense. But Orca is a player who keeps his cards close to his chest usually, I just have a hard time seeing him willingly claim his being indie instead of at least making some theatre of it. Wouldn't be against lynching there.
The question at the end of all this though, is "does this make her scum". Ultimately it doesn't matter what you think about her actions or logic, the only thing that matters is whether you think she's scum or not. And reading between the lines here, I don't think you think she's scum.

As for Naomi, I only have the gist of it but I'd be far sooner inclined to lynch Orca before her. With Naomi, there was no pressing reason to claim Indie, which means we can essentially rule out it being a gam it she's made to deter suspicion on her slot. Her win con is neutral, it shouldn't end the game and we have no incentive to offer anything to her beyond us not lynching her. That can change as and when and if she becomes more of a town threat then we can address that, her being a known quantity helps with that endeavour.

Compare this to Orca who is trying to call lynches, hasn't been forthcoming about his wincon, has claimed when it's somewhat out of character... which of the two is more likely to have a nefarious agenda?

That's my reasoning, anyway. As I said in one of my first posts, my aim is mostly to have guiding thoughts down as I'm not going to be able to play the crux of the game, most likely. I can't tell you what the solve is and what you should listen to. I just hope my reasoning is followable. For what it's worth, I do think you're town - I think as scum you'd be much less stubborn in your arguments.
Not really any chance scum aren't messing with a vig if they can, the value of an extra kill is too high even if you're aiming away from them. And if Orca is scum or scum siding indie, it's all the more reason to do it. With respect, I've got no plans to bank on any of your kills without seeing at least a redirector or busdriver scum flip.
So far the only player I'm feeling particularly co fident on being scum is Melkor. Orca I think is scummy in his own right too and could see him faking it.

By and large I'm generally more interested in my town reads than my scum ones. It's much more effective to find townies than it is to try and find scum when the overall scum play level here is... not the highest you will find to put it politely. My goal really here is, well, as the game goes on things get lost, so by explaining my reasoning now I hope later in the game someone can come back to this and find the right answers. So I would say, please do consider my scum reads, but really please do consider my town ones too.
Not a fan of Cal dropping his vote on Flower. That feels like it was intentional and there is just barely enough cover for him to have plausible deniability. Could see him being scum.

Yeah we can remove this one.
You responded to a post about Cal. As for Orca, hard to be friendly towards a player who hasn't claimed win con and clearly isn't playing for the town's interests.

I'm a little concerned as there are more nulls than I was thinking there would be here. Some of them I can sort of see being town on play but it's more of a stretch than I'm willing to commit to at this point, the ones in town I'm fairly confident on. Think Jan looks a lot better than SKy did but I thought Sky was looking better anyway after a weird start. Charlie I'm more town than null but that's maybe the only "town" read I'm not about a 6/10 on confidence wise. The scum reads don't all really work together as a sensible team idea so I'm going to say probably one or two are hits.

I cannot say the same for Naomi, who I think would be a loss for the town.
Well I can't give you a 100% certainty. I don't have one of those. But there are several things to consider here. Number 1 is that Cal can hardly be said to be doing his upmost to survive the lynch. This would imply that there is a degree of resignation to his death, which need not be there at all if he sees one of his scum mates falling on his sword for him. There is enough doubt around the wagon for Cal to capitalise on that, he could definitely make a push for Melkor or Orca and get something going there. Instead he rolls over. This implies that he's prepared to maximise the opportunity of his death, which is to say, he's okay with it because he knows his death makes some players that aren't on his team look bad. Muugen fits that the most.

The next thing to consider is Muugen. As I need not tell you, he is not exactly the type of scum player who would fall on his sword for a scum mate. Muugen plays for himself and wants to make himself look as good as he can, generally speaking. He'll push what he believes he can get away with, but ither than that it's very safe. Combine this with point one, and the thread reaching a consensus of sorts on Cal, and you have a scenario that suggests Muugen is not aligned with Cal. Now sure, maybe they saw someone making this exact argument, and decided to play for that, but then you look nat what they're actually gaining and it's... not much. If we have multiscum, then Muugen doesn't even really get temporary town cred, because you could just argue he is scum on the other team. So it requires them to play for an outcome that is risky for them and doesn't offer much in return. Ergo, not plausible.

A more plausible candidate imo would be Polar Bear, who, when Cal is a main wagon, made a show of getting onto Cal and then voted him as if he was deciding the lynch, which could he argued was an attempt to claw some credit back for him.

Obviously all of this assumes Cal is scum. If he's town then most of this gets thrown out entirely. But that's my reasoning as to why I'm arguing this.
Focused on the indy. Town Ratchet would never use this many posts on an indy on D1
