Oda doesn't respect Imu and he clearly doesn't care about being consistent with powerscaling. He's having Hajrudin punch Imu away and having Imu dickride injured old Gaban out of nowhere
Honestly I joke about it a lot but I really am starting to get tired of Oda just treating his villains like jokes

@Kurozumi Wiwi @EmperorKinyagi Gaban telling everyone on Elbaph to literally leave the island after sensing new form Imu is crazy talk.

I've been wondering if this could turn into an escape arc, especially if Imu calls in reinforcements.

It depends on if the Straw Hats/Elbaph get more allies, here. If Shanks and Rayleigh/Shakky/Boa show up, I think this stays as a fighting arc.

I'm also hoping Oda isn't going to give us another escape arc directly after Egghead.

But, it's possible, and we do have Kuma here to teleport everyone away in case of an emergency.

Considering how much Oda has been leaning into God Valley, here, I continue to hope we see a replication of this panel, but with 6 Conqueror's in the modern era:
