Domi-Reversi is an over-used plot device that didn't work on the god fruits for whatever reason hence why Imu decided to descend himself. The moment that happened it has always been very unlikely we ever see it again. Moreover why would Imu go out of his way to use Domi-Reversi when he's already here. Not to mention that we've already found a solution for it via chopper.

So it is really a plot hole, it is just story progression imo.
Cause adding to your forces is always a good idea? And adding someone who imu literally acknowledged as strong. It would also be very effective psychologically against the shp and elfabians.

Out of his way? He domi'd Rocks and the giant captains in seconds lol. There's literally no reason to not use it. It isn't difficult to pull off as far as we've seen, and doesn't have the problem of damage reflecting back to imu if the domi's are defeated unlike knight pacts do either.

Imu doesn't know whatever choppa did iirc. And i doubt choppa could tag a buffed gaben so easily.

Imu is also on a timer here. He's actively being damaged by being in the lower realms. I think in the first chapter he arrived, he even mentions being in a hurry or something.

Taking all that into account, turning Gaben after he cut off his hand would have been an extremely effective play from imu. The only reason he didn't do it, unless we get some new info about why it wouldn't work on gaben, is because the good guys would just lose.

ie, PIS. Plot Induced Stupidity. Where characters overlook or outright ignore great decisions because plot needs them to not do that.

It's a plot hole unless something changes.

Tinkle tinkle Big Mom fan, Xebec canonically used hostages...
And admiral still died after emergency medical treatment. Xebec didn't even bother finishing him off he just side quest diffed him and had enough energy to escape Imu lmao

When BM come back from the lava bath after suffering massive injuries for days will you still have the same energy?

Narrative demands an admiral was used as a hypetool for a comparably weaker Xebec. In no way is THAT Xebec weaker than said admiral esp not after 5km radius CoC clash with Harold on the same day, Xebec was more enchanted with the giant than admiral Jiaga

Imagine time travel to 2021 and tell worstgen about Elbaf arc, Gaban wank, Sanji will get coc. You woukd be called most delusion sanjitard that even sanji fans call you most delusion.

Imagine saying Imu compare old injured Gaban (Sanji parallel) is Rock Xebec, praise this man.

No wonder most zoro fans vanish, Fenaker flee from thunder of Gaban hype.
2026 and same old wishing from 2021 still here
"Sanji will get CoC soon"
Sanji fandom embarassing af 😭

let me guess, Oda doesn't give a shit about powerscaling?
I mean tbh in the context of Elbaf itself, Hajrudin has been portrayed as a powerful giant warrior. His subordinates were all portrayed to be strong in their own right, with Rodo tanking an attack from Zeus and him being able to pull off 3 generals alongside Gerd and Goldberg.

He was revealed to be the son of one top tier and brother to another. Someone likely capable of becoming King of Giants.

All of his bad feats were from over 4 arcs ago

Yeah and those are good feats but not enough for him to do anything to Imu.

By the way where is Goldberg anyway?

Not using it coz you can (if he even can in his non blob form) doesn't inherently mean PIS. This is not Tekken or something where you just spam everything in you arsenal in order to win, there is an overlying story being told here and imo the narrative has progressed beyond domi reversi which was a plot point in said narrative but we can disagree on this.

Will hold my hands up if Hajrudin dies  though I doubt it :p
Pending that Loki4Nakama is still on :kayneshrug:and the Loki strength argument though admitedly never really being that big a factor for me personally isn't looking that hot now with Old Gaban's performance against Imu. Not to say Loki isn't a monster still though :BigW:
