There's zero indication that Gaban attack hurt Imu through his defense.

Imu caughed > bleeds from mouth > wipes it away in the same panel > next panel Imu doesn't have any blood on his face and no blood until Gaban attacks > Gaban attacks and Imu blocks > Imu bleeds from mouth and forehead > Gaban attacks again and Imu bleeds even more.

Yes, Imu was caughing so hard off panel that he started bleeding from his forehead....
