When luffy hit someone in G5 and there body turn to rubber mean he get in a good hit and he bypass Imu skill to do it .
So this not the usual Imu let down his guard and get hit this loki and luffy combo attack by passing his skill.

well:

1) wasn't this shield; It was Omen.

2) Luffy was actually in a new, stronger form made for Imu and that punch was made becuase Luffy was even taking Imu by suprise lol;

3) but Loki can actually break the barrier, so no problems for Luffy: thanks to Loki, he can damage Imu.
