I didnt mean to insult you but its irritating to see you defend OP everytime lol.

The point is other series villains feel untouchable and overpowered but in One Piece they keep getting clowned while at the same time we are supposed to believe they are ungodly strong. Like in this chapter Gaban tells everyone to run after they sent Imu flying for example and then he gets white eyed by a fucking combo attack, this is right after he showed this new form btw.
But I don't, though. I really, really do not like how a new power system like the Covenants are brought into the system so late into the series and how the Holy Knights basically have a superior version of Logia regeneration that breaks the series because unless you have Conqueror's Haki, you can't hurt them. I don't like Imu, and I think him literally having a devil power is boring and cliche. I think there should be more foes so the other Straw Hats can fight.

And I have been expressing my dislike for this since last year when it all started happening.

Exactly. Transforms into new form with Gaban yelling like a motherfucker for everyone to run > Gets his shield broken and go white eyed the next chapter.

@Johnny B. Decent is this fine for you lol?
Gaban's actions are logical, he's an old man who just lost an arm and hasn't seen anything as bizarre as Imu.

Now, I feel the overall flow of the fight should be different. Imu should still be notably stronger, but not overwhelmingly so. For example, the double impalement, I wouldn't have done.

But for what is actually happening? I rather doubt the fight is over as it seems to be a revolving amount of "gotchas!" Luffy punches Imu, he gets impaled. Gaban stops Imu, he looses a hand. This just happened...well, I'm sure it will be back in his court next chapter.

Fujishiro

Gaban knows about Imu and what he is and the true history of the world though.

Others dont know about Imu much.

I have a nasty agenda post I’m going to make once I see the raws 😈

so Yawnco “Godfy” punching imus sheild didn’t do shit

But when Lokis helps out he actually managed to penetrate it and hurt Imu huh?👀👀👀😭😭😭

You can literally say the exact same thing about Loki lmao. the difference is that Loki used serious moves like Thorheim and Luffy used unnamed punches.
This did nothing to Imu's shield

Right, which is why he's saying to run as Imu, like it or not, is still the overall strongest character in the series. Now, the question really is how long will this continue before Imu's illness or whatever it is, flares up and he has to leave? Well....I don't know. We've really not seen much of Zoro and Sanji VS Sommers and Killingham.

I imagine when they are defeated, Imu will have the upper hand and that's when he gets weaker, one more attack, and then cue the illness and his retreat. But it should be an attack that afterwards, Luffy is totally done. Like 0% stamina.
