Is downplaying Garling for what happened 39 years ago the biggest circlejerk take in the community atm? By feats, it's pretty hard to argue that anyone bar the main three were even stronger than YC level at GV. Like, what do people think would have happened if WB, Ray, or Gaban fought Rocks at that point?
The main argument from the redditors among us seems to be people salty about him getting called champion afterwards, but I don't get how people expected that to have some deeper meaning after the flashback in Egghead, where it was revealed their was a tournament about hunting the natives at GV.

Zoro has fist and feet and is capable of using them but never does in serious battles. That’s the difference between characters like Zoro and King
King doesn’t limit himself to just swordsmanship, marksmanship, or martial art. He fights freely doing whatever he wants
Zoro is capable of fighting outside of swordsmanship and can if it’s necessary but still sticks to just strengthening his swordsmanship
