5 Ban, not one legitimated by a problematic behavior. Only by this moderation putting an equal weight on violence and the denounciation of this violence.

But instead of saying compromise, you ban leftists and you ignore most of the violence of rightists (I can still see the transphobia, the ableism, the racism, the sexism etc..). I'm not saying that I'm perfect. I use toxicity too sometime, and it's not cool, but this was never the problem here.

So yeah.. "Wtf lol ?" will continue to be "wtf lol ?"

There is no rationnality and ethics when one consider that the denounciation of violence equate said violence.

you can't just call someone a nazi (a group that supports the genocide of millions of jews, mind you) and think that should be taken lightly. if you're going to accuse someone of being a bigot that calls for the death of certain marginalized groups, you have to have substantial evidence for it. i'm sure if you were called a nazi, kkk member, or anything else you'd also take offense to it.

On this forum, I've been called a terrorist, a fascist, a nazi and whatever. I know who I am, this is not some label that will shock me. This would be another problem if that was a public statement seen by million, yeah, but we are on a forum in the middle of nowhere on a thread that is not even visible. This really is not the place to be shocked by a few labels.

Now, was this wrong? Yeah of course, CoC is a conspiracy theorist, and perhaps he is flirting with a bit of antisemitism, I don't know, I've not read everything. But Nazi...? Nah. Even the most fascists people here are not Nazis. (and most of them are gone anyway). CoC has a good potential to be a leftist if he manages to reason with a little bit more critical thinking on his theories. There is no reason to call him a Nazi. But there is no reason to uses this label as a excuze to Ban people.

why do you keep doing this thing where you act like you're the one that makes the definition of these words and can dictate who is or isn't able to be called them
nobody cares if you personally don't see someone as a leftist.

I'm sorry if you feel that I'm somehow trying to invent things or define things or dictate things. I do no such things. I always simply describe what I see based on my understanding.

I'm the most materialist and radical leftist here and I am the only one that brings the associated rethoric. My description reflects that gap, it's really nothing personnal.

Politics is not a child's game. It's not meant for people to have happy go lucky debates. Politics are about conflicts of values that impacts the lives of all people on this planet, often drastically. Labels, political descriptions, agendas, attacks, denounciations, they are all necessary tools.

If you have the priviledge not to care too much about the urgency of politicizing yourself really good and really quickly, good for you, others do not have this luck. Every little win matter.

If you want to shut me up, bring someone with a big materialist, anti-imperialist and intersectionnal comprehension of the world and politics. Be sure that if you do, I will go completely silent. But know that they will be a much bigger pain in the ass than I am.
