Zoro's flashback with Mihawk in Chapter 1194, according to my source:
''Among the mightiest in the world, you will find those capable of coating their attacks with Conqueror's Haki. However, the swordwielders among them often stray from the path of the sword. Conqueror's Haki is a power so overwhelming that it fundamentally alters how a warrior fights. To be a true swordsman, one must rely entirely on absolute mastery of the blade. ''
Zoro basically figures it all out in this chapter. He realizes he must stop unleashing a ridiculous amount of acoc and instead coat just the tiniest bit of it onto the edge of his blade to amplify his attacks. He finally understands what it means to be the world's greatest swordsman, a swordsman so absurdly skilled that they don't need to rely on obscene amounts of haki, but rather just enough to deliver precise, lethal damage .
Take this with a grain of salt for now, and let's wait for Pew's brief spoilers.
