Teach was equally afraid of Rayleigh as Aramaki was afraid of Shanks. In both cases, they have somewhat cowardly tendencies(but not completely), and suddenly getting hit by a COC blast from the back is obviously going to be scary to anyone.

My guy, the Gorosei are literally immortal beings who seemingly cannot age or die. The Twenty Kings defeated Joy Boy and his OP ass faction lol. They quite literally did create the modern world. Most people don’t know about fodder celestial dragons, they know about the Gorosei and the twenty kings. We as the reader aren’t learning the history of this world the same way people around the OP world do.
