Looking at the scans, it really does seem like this fight maybe has potential to be somewhat good.

ZBoys might make fun of Sanji for struggling(Even though there is a reason for it), but you know it is so far being handled more better than Zoro vs Bummers.

Zoro vs Sommers which I thought would be a good fight, ended up being a trash fight.

Zoro is cool and all, but seeing him not struggle at all against Sommers, his only problem being on how to control his CoC which is automatically fixed after a quick Mihawk flashback. And Sommers himself who is just screaming and crying the whole time, and then runs the fuck away.

That is not a good fight, that is straight up trash, even if Oda didn't want to have Zoro struggle, he could at the very least give us a decent fight between Zoro and Sommers, but nope he has to make Sommers into a complete joke.

Zoro at least somewhat struggled against King at first, but for Sommers nope nothing.

Also I still like Sommers, but this fight kind of ruined him a little bit for me.


Meanwhile Sanji who has yet to awaken his CoC is struggling against Killingham, while at the same time going through his mental problems.

Killingham is a joke as well, but so far he is not crying and screaming like Sommers was, and because of his quick regen, is giving Sanji a hard time.

The fight is already more interesting, but let's see how Oda handles the rest of the fight.

I think if we saw more of the Zoro vs Sommers fight before Zoro started to lock in with his conquerors the fight would have been a lot more interesting. We basically skipped the struggle and jumped to Zoro dominating
We know gram due to omen can counter conquerors haki but conquerors haki counters his thorns and body. Gram can only carry him so much especially when he’s not a skilled swordsman

Hopefully Sommers is running to the giants gerd especially or maybe the crew so he can try to stall longer by threatening to kill them

Also the gap between Zoro and Sanji pre power up is very evident

2010-2018 Zoro was on a generational run, 4 Opponents Defeated plus a bunch of Strength Feats without losing or struggling really. Whereas Sanji only defeated Watudsumi with Jimbei and offscreened Yonji. With a few major feats thrown in. And he was often either struggling , equally clashing, or straight up lost to notable people.

Old legends are basically annoyances for Zoro now. Oda isn't using the same person for no reason. It's a clear display of power difference by using Sommers as the standard metric.

Plus Kiringham is actually not fighting like a retard so that helps.
Moreover unlike Zoro, Sanji is completely unable to use CoC even subconsiouly so there's no need for Kiingham to be hesistant against Sanji (can take advatage of his regen to the best of his ability)

Anways don't expect to get a balanced view from Zoro bros on this lol

Zoro wasn’t using fire and is actively struggling to use conquerors. Between the 2 options it’s extremely obvious he’s in and out of using conquerors like Sommers assumed
