@HA001 pointed out Ace had COC while not knowing if he even should have been born, but Kata having it while having self esteem issues about his face also point to the fact that the "self actualization" thing doesn't really make sense either. You'd also have to wonder about Imu and the Gorosei who larp as Gods, but clearly know they're mortal. I know that for years people just took for granted that COC users were characters who were "fearless" which had it's own issues, but the current explanation might even be worse now

Like Kuri developped his COO to the point of getting FS but somehow never managed to yo make the jump to aCOC which is apparently trivial as long you can use the base version
Nah.
It's not really something "trivial" considering Kaido's words who didn't think that even post-Udon Luffy could manage to coat himself with CoC but Oda doing everything in his power to discredit it by handing it to Sanji like that.

I mean with Zoro you can at least somehow rationalize it with Enma gimmick but Sanji deadass unlocking CoC and using AdCoC at the same time seems retarded.

The only justification I can see for this is the fact that Katakuri never personally never fought an ACoC user and may not even know it’s possible

Luffy saw Kaido coat his attacks with CoC but he said he didn’t realize it until he got hit by his Ragnarok attack

What that tells me is that actually identifying it/knowing you can do it is a pretty big deal

That’s why Yamato having it makes sense imo. We know for a fact that Yamato challenged Kaido multiple times over the years and that’s how she got so strong

It’s only natural that she would EVENTUALLY figure out that Kaido’s coating his attacks with conqueror’s as well

Katakuri on the other hands is subservient to Big Mom so I doubt they ever fought and if they did (most likely for training) I’d be surprised if it ever got to a point that Big Mom would whip out ACoC against him

I apply the same logic to Doflamingo as well. Who’s never fought someone with ACoC and wouldn’t have an ally that’s willing to tell him it even exists

And that’s on top of the fact that based on Zoro’s experience it clearly isn’t an easy thing to do. He spent the entire “fight” with Sommers trying to figure it out (as a haki prodigy)

And that’s in conjunction with the confirmation we got that infusing yourself with conqueror’s haki doesn’t follow the same process as armament haki. It was completely foreign to Zoro, despite being a master of flowing his haki

Fujishiro

Its going to be daijobu.

The gang was kinda underwhelmed when they saw the inside of the box.
It's probably a trivial item that only has weight with the proper context, which Imu shoukd be aware of.
Imo it's just a memento from Lily that will make Imu let his guard down. But the memento itself will still prove a hint towards their post-Elbaf aim via Robin knowledge.
But like Biblo seemed to want them to know about whats in the box now, not after the fighting is over. It has to be relevant to the fight.

Dude he has to have seen BM use it at least once in 48 years. Wasnt he on god valley
It’s not about seeing it though, we know that

Luffy saw Kaido do it multiple times but was unable to identify it. The same thing applies to the rest of the people on the Rooftop

None of them could actually figure out what Kaido was doing. It took Luffy getting hit by Kaido’s attacks to realize that he was coating his club with conqueror’s

So without someone telling you, it might require you to actually experience it beforehand

Luffy got hit by Ragnarok (and a bunch of other ACoC attacks), Zoro got hit by Thunder Bagua, and Sanji got hit with that explosion lightning kick from Imu

Katakuri and Doflamingo don’t have this under their belt
