This arc's structure feels like learning ACoC for the monster trio is something definitive.
Luffy needs to be more mindful of his usage
Zoro needed to realize he had it and use it at will.
Sanji needs to unlock and already use it.
What the Zoro vs Sommers fight showed us, is that you can't beat them with this "on/off" ACoC. As Gaban said: one must MASTER it in order for it to be useful. and he also repeated that to Sanji, saying it's what he needs to support Luffy becoming the PK.
Not saying it's impossible for Oda to go for the stalling route, but if Sanji get another way to deal with Killingham's Omen, then it means Omen would have 3 counters this arc alone:
-Haoshoku
-Chopper's fruit
-Whatever Sanji would get.

From what little we know it sounds like its set in the period between Naruto and Boruto. So no Madara and Itachi wank. Just Naruto and Sasuke being so far beyond tbat they could each solo Juuibdara with one hand tied behind their back.
